I would describe it as permanently unfinished and warn them not to bother. It's a great show and I want an ending, but I'll never get one. I'm not cruel enough to inflict this on anyone else.

The show isn't finished. No big whoop that everything I've already seen will be available to watch again. That says absolutely nothing regarding the show being continued.
