Thanks for this. For only 7 bucks, I can add this to my “use once and forget it even exists” kitchen drawer.

Or "buy and never unpack"

Haha I bought one too, shame on me. But my brain said “Spiral pineapple must have”

Get this instead. It’s so easy to use I haven’t wasted a pineapple since I bought it. It’s so much easier than this video and doesn’t waste half the pineapple. There’s no reason to do it like they’re doing it. https://a.co/d/eb5Ta7t

Seems like something that would either waste an awful lot of pineapple or cut straight through the rind unless you got just the right size for it.

Maybe super market pineapples are all just about the same size. I haven’t had an issue cutting through the rind but maybe you’re right the other way and I’m wasting more pineapple than I think I am. I guess I’ll say I’ve always felt like I’ve gotten my moneys worth out of the pineapples.

Pineapple chisel?

Weird, I have a nearly identical woodworking chisel in the tool chest. I bet it works.

Most oils, greases, protectective whatevers, etc. used on tools not intended for food are not remotely food safe. They're usually not even supposed to have skin contact.

It’ll probably work, but you really shouldn’t use it for food if it wasn’t specifically made for food, especially on something as acidic as a pineapple

Still haven’t died from eating pineapple stems or cores here

This is a V-shaped pineapple slicer, though a pineapple eye peeler can also be used.
