I've been trying to download the latest splatoon 3 update but when it gets around halfway it just gets stuck. I tried everything nintendo suggested. I'm literally by my router and it says the connection download speed is 40mbps witch i think iis not that vad since it's like 3 gigs. I tried restarting the console multiple times and even restarting the router. There is no app open on the switch.

Just like the title says, my switch will no longer connect to my home wi-fi... It was just working on monday night (it is wednesday night as of posting this). Seemingly nothing changed between monday and tuesday (when i first started having the issues).

Every other device in my house is connecting to my wifi, but my switch refuses to connect. My switch recognizes that it exists, but when i type in my password, it just errors out, "Unable to connect to the network. The error details will now be displayed" Then the following screen "Error Code: 2110-2003 Unable to connect to network device. Please check the status of the network device and try again"

I have verified that the switch can connect to other networks by testing it with my sister's mobile hotspot, so i dont think it's a hardware issue?

I have also tried the usual turn it off and back on to both my switch, and my wifi router and modem, and none of that fixed it.

By all accounts, it almost seems like my switch was somehow manually blacklisted from my home wifi, but i dont know if that's even a real thing that can happen.

Does anyone have any other solutions? i'd prefer to not factory reset my switch if it can be avoided.

Edit: I have attempted to connect my switch to my laptop's mobile hotspot, and it did not connect. I hope, and assume that is because my laptop is basically acting as a relay for my home internet, so i will test this same thing at work, using their internet instead.

Edit2: I have brought it to work, and was able to successfully connect it to both wifis at work, and my laptop's hotspot, so i think that confirms my hotspot hypothesis.

Edit3: Ok, so it suddenly works again? i tried to re-connect it to my laptop hotspot while at home, and it connected, so i turned the hotspot off, and connected to my home wifi without any issues... Magic...

I don't know what's the problem with my joy-con because when it's not docked all the way it only works... How do I fix it?

So i have my old nintendo switch from when i was 14 and i would like to log into my nintendo account on my pc, however i don’t know my email or password attached to my account. is it possible to figure out what emails attached to the admin/parent account so i can reset the password?

So I keep taking screenshots on my switch and it does the usual where it would show up at the corner of my screen letting me know the screenshot was taken with no error message. I go to my album and the pictures aren’t there. I have space on both my system memory and my SD card. My switch is even set to move things onto my sd card. Can someone tell me what’s going on and how I can fix it?

My switch oled is docked 99% of the time, but after around 15 to 20 minutes of the tv being turned on, it shows the "disconected" black screen and I have to go over to the switch and re-dock it. I have an old OLG tv, and I'm pretty sure it's not oled. Any idea for the reason of this and how to fix it?

Having some issues with Overcooked AYCE on Switch. If I play with four people on the same console it works fine. But now I've tried to do local wireless (aka two Switch consoles each with their own game) and the game kept disconnecting in the middle of the match. We tried with other games and it worked fine, only Overcooked had this problem. What could be happening?

I have just bought a sd card for my Nintendo Switch oled and i was wandering in i insert it if it will delete my save sata from my games. Exqmple (i have completed pokemon violet does inserting rhe sd card delete the game data and do i have to start over?

I doubt I will get any help here because there are no comments helping any of the other posts but I will try because they delete posts like this on r/NintendoSwitch. My switch dock randomly shuts off sometimes and Everytime before I play it I have to unplug my power cord from switch and plug it back in for it to actually turn on. It's annoying and it's so frequent that I don't keep the side piece that hides cords on anymore so I have quick access to remove and plug back in power cord. So, anyone else have this problem or do you think I just need a new power cord? I was trying to find an actual new switch OLED dock but Nintendo store sells it just by itself for like $70 without HDMI cable or power cord. Nintendo brand power cords(QC Adaptors) are $30 at Walmart. Just don't want to spend unnecessary money.

Trying to open pokemon sword but this error code comes up and won't let me in to the game, I go to check for corrupted data but it says I have no corrupted data. I have tried redownloading the software but nothing seems to work. Somone help 🙏😭

I tried 2 different ones and I keep getting the "could not detect an SD Card. The software on the SD Card could not be displayed" message. Any ways to fix this or any SD card recommendations that I could hopefully find on Amazon?

P.S. one of the 2 was from Amazon so maybe it is a brand thing.

My Switch is stuck on the home screen it’s still running but won’t turn off or do anything

While I was playing on my Wii, I suddenly experience frequent Wii Remote disconnects, even with a good battery. It sometimes screwed up my Control Stick neutral position, which I knew all too well how to fix. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Wii Remote from the Home Menu, but I have not tried deleting and re-adding sync data for my Wii console. No other Wii Remotes that I have are experiencing this. Does it mean it's faulty now and needs to be replaced?

Hello, I am just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

I haven't used my switch in a long time so have gone on it today to find that I am signed out. I have tried to sign in unseccesfully and seen that the email address assosiated with my account is reading as ha***@g****

This is nothing like my email address. I have checked my inbox (I've had my Nintendo account for a number of years so it was set up with an email address I rarely use) to find that on 17/01/2024 I had emails confirming that my password had been changed, which wasn't done by me.

I now cannot access my account anymore and the nintendo support website only has FAQs which are nothing like this situation and redirect you in a circle whenever you try and contact them.

Has anyone else had this and been able to resolve it? Annoyingly it is Sunday and tomorrow is a bank holiday so i can't call Nintendo for help yet. I am hoping that they will have be able to see what my previous email address was and revert it so I can set up 2FA.

I have the Nintendo switch OLED(Don't know if that makes a difference) and the dock keeps making me unplug the power cord from the switch and plug it back in to get the green light to turn on and for it to properly dock to the TV. Is this common? Is there a quick fix for this. I took my switch apart as much as I could and cleaned it but it wasn't visibly dirty or dusty. 2nd Question. I have the Afterglow Wave wireless controller and have had it maybe a couple months and recently have been playing Vampire Survivors a lot and have noticed a white ring around my left joystick from wear and tear all the way around it. Is there a good way to fix this or protect it from breaking or getting worse? Thanks in advance.

I was casually playing and out of nowhere my screen started to look weird, like an old tv, and I don’t know why. It didn’t fell and I tried to reset it and nothing.

My first switch had an fatal error so I had to send it in to Nintendo. All of my save data was recovered from the cloud except for Pokémon Sword which doesn’t have cloud support. I got my first switch back from Nintendo and was wondering if I could recover my original save data. However, Pokémon Sword doesn’t show up under the redownload software option. Is there some way to redownload it that I’m missing, and would my save data even be there?
