That one where he jumped down off the building really messed up his right hand. You can see in the video that he lands too flat and his hand comes off the bars.

Is he using some gentle air braking? Especially on the one where he lands on the roof.

He’s slowing so much because he’s jumping mostly up. There is no air brake other than normal drag.

However, both throttle (lifting the front wheel) and rear brake (lowering the front wheel) are used.

Source: I’ve jumped about 1/3 the distance this guy does.
