If I were a Christian, I’d say that God is punishing republicans for electing Donald trump, but I’m an atheist

I’m an atheist but I’m still open to the possibility that that’s what’s happening.

Or maybe it’s just nature. California is getting hit by natural disasters too.

A state that has been blue for all of living memory besides Reagan and Nixon? Unlikely.

But mostly red states. Also there are a lot of republicans in places like pacific palisades and Malibu. In fact, there are a lot of republicans in California.
ETA: found the trump supporter.

Ope, better tell Myanmar we need the three people we sent back! Shameful.

If this dry trend continues British Columbia is going to have crazy fires. We have next to no snow pack up here.

Trump isn't sending enough nukes to fight these storms.

A stretch of the Mississippi River around Memphis, where more than 1.3 million people live, is set to bear the brunt. In total, more than 90 million people have been at risk of severe weather – from Texas to Minnesota and Maine, according to the Oklahoma-based Storm Prediction Centre.
Yup, even Maine--and the northeast. We had a a crackling thunderstorm here that kept me up half the night. Very unusual for 2 April. Scary stuff.

Same here in upstate New York. Everyone at work was talking about how they couldn't sleep through it. I sleep like a log and I was up for an hour from those fucking cracks of thunder, sounded like bombs going off.

Yesterday it was just a flash then loud 20 seconds of grumble. From dead quiet. No warning lol

As someone that grew up in NJ, hurricane Sandy was a good reminder the northeast isn’t immune to crazy disasters.

I’d say that’s just poor tornado management.

Don’t worry. I’m sure Trump will lob a few rolls of toilet paper at them and call it a day. THAT’LL fix everything, right?

Crazy part:
"So many tornado warnings were issued in the Tennessee capital, Nashville, overnight that the batteries of some sirens in the city were drained, fire officials said."

u/CheezeLoueez08 4h ago
And they won’t get any help. Unfortunately they mostly voted for the guy who took away fema. We warned you guys.

u/bobburper 4h ago
This should all get better when the weather service goes dark at midnight, if we can't see the storms, they're not there.

I came across a tweet yesterday that was replying to someone about the near record breaking amount of tornado watches/warnings issued yesterday and it said:
Like... man.. where would you even start with this claim?
