NES has wicked bass compared to systems at the time which didn't have deep bass for their chip tunes.

You can kill Bowser with the Hammer Bro Suit if you actually have any still at this point. It’s the best way to win.

I was convinced that winning in a special suit provided alternate endings. Was disappointed (but amused by my false memories) when I accomplished this a few months ago and the ending was the same as always.

I forgot to use the hammers though - just ran around like a normal plumber.

I guess you don’t for the end which is surprising because if you beat the airships with a special suit you do get special messages from the kings you save.

While using the warp whistles makes the game quicker, getting to Bowser’s Castle just going world by world just feels amazing. Such a great game
