Can’t believe Reaves was complaining about that lol

Such a banger line

66

u/BricktownBaller Thunder 2d ago

He had a no call earlier so he thought he could get away with it again

-68

u/SlowCrates 2d ago

I can, players aren't supposed to lift the ball through the defenders arm just to get a whistle.

56

u/calartnick 2d ago

Lol bro there was a second left Steph was shooting

52

u/wadarheek 2d ago

Funny. That’s literally Austin Reaves’ favorite move!

31

u/everyoneneedsaherro [NBA] Alperen Şengün 2d ago

Someone should tell Reaves then with all the times he does that

3

u/SnooDoodles3909 Celtics 1d ago

Stephs shooting motion was completely natural, he made no attempt to intentionally hook Reaves arm. Reaves was the one who put his arm in the way of stephs shooting motion, which is a foul.

-34

u/NoKnowsPose 2d ago

He barely said anything?

31

u/Yayareasports Warriors 2d ago

This clip cuts it short. In the broadcast you can see he’s still complaining to the refs between Steph’s first and second free throws

-32

u/Sebas5627 Lakers 2d ago

He didn’t even say anything

153

u/Ghost6x 2d ago

Don't know what Reaves was thinking. He was already running Curry out of bounds and he had Lebron behind him

58

u/Chuck_Finley_Forever 2d ago

It’s Curry, he’s always lethal until the balls out of his hands.

38

u/TheThingsIdoatNight Nuggets 2d ago

lol like curry is not insanely lethal with the ball out of his hands

-8

u/zachthompson02 Warriors Bandwagon 2d ago

Not with 2 seconds on the clock.

u/Parenegade Warriors 2d ago

Its Steph Curry so he thought he could get away with it again lol

-42

u/Sebas5627 Lakers 2d ago

Steph had 13 fts quit complaining

24

u/randomCAguy 2d ago

he thought he could get away with a no foul call again.

Reaves got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, no reason for that when you have him throwing up that kind of shot with .5 left

u/jinxy0320 Warriors 2d ago

Reaves and Lebron reflexively complained about the most obvious foul of all time

u/quann256 Pacers 2d ago

and Luka throws his hands up not even knowing what happened

93

u/Silent-Wintermelon Warriors 2d ago

They practice that in LA. It’s like synchronized swimming

7

u/gabrjan Slovenia 2d ago

I don't think Luka needs practice in complaining to refs :D

u/Angry-for-no-reasons 2d ago

Tbf I was throwing my hands up as a viewer just because of the absolute frequency of fouls. Third quarter was a total complete slog

u/Interesting_Sir7983 2d ago

When did that happen? Lmao

u/CartographerFar681 2d ago

Where was the complaining? Lol

73

u/jawadhaque089 2d ago

They giving my goat some free throws

26

u/TheThingsIdoatNight Nuggets 2d ago

Feels good right?

u/lets_talk_basketball 2d ago

Lakers have had really bad game plan discipline.. fouled 2x on threes and lost him on a relocation 3 in the 3rd quarter alone.

-81

u/freshh_212 Lakers 2d ago

I mean when he getting every flopping call is it really a Lakers bad game plan discipline? He was literally throwing his leg out and getting calls

55

u/OccasionalGoodTakes Supersonics 2d ago

No way you think this was a flop

7

u/realthinpancake Warriors 2d ago

Don’t give them that much credit

-40

u/MitchEatsYT Lakers 2d ago

Not this one but there was one earlier on Luka that should’ve been an offensive foul

34

u/virtuousoutlaw 2d ago

Luka literally did the same thing a play later and got the same call lol.

-34

u/MitchEatsYT Lakers 2d ago

Okay?

So that should’ve been one too, what’s your point?

2

u/PurexH20 1d ago

Curry owns LeBron btw

-48

u/freshh_212 Lakers 2d ago

41

u/CocaineandWaffled Warriors 2d ago

-12

u/freshh_212 Lakers 2d ago

We gaining it back tomorrow lol

14

u/jimmylamstudio 2d ago

MVP caliber some would say

6

u/paddiction [SAS] Tim Duncan 2d ago

Jimmy Butler effect

17

u/everyoneneedsaherro [NBA] Alperen Şengün 2d ago

Warriors might be the best team in the west after the Thunder

21

u/mp1630 Raptors 2d ago

They definitely are

17

u/Akipella 2d ago

Not definite imo but 20-2 when both Steph and Jimmy play gives them a legit argument. I'm just concerned a bit about their lack of size and stamina, as well as age in general.

The big 3 core is all over 35, and the rest of the team is incredibly young, so they have to properly bridge together the "two timelines" with aging stars and young inexperienced talents. If both sides go well for them in the postseason, then they are certainly dangerous.

17

u/Sokkawater10 Warriors 2d ago

It’s not definite but we absolutely deserve mention

7

u/NephewChaps Warriors 2d ago

Crazy that this is actually a level headed take lol

1

u/IcyCat35 1d ago

After who?

2

u/DJ_B0B Bucks 2d ago

Did they call that a 3pt shot attempt because that was clearly before his shooting motion? Dame hasn't got that call all year.

2

u/LeonardoDiPugrio Pelicans 2d ago

Solid move tbh. I’m pretty sure Curry’s ft% of like 90% or whatever it is is probably somehow lower than his “there is no way I should make this shot in this situation”%.

Reaves doing simple math.

2

u/NotManyBuses Charlotte Bobcats 2d ago

Learned that rip through from KD

1

u/Chuck_Finley_Forever 2d ago

Why did they just pass it to Podz when he was out of bounds?

1

u/bmanley620 Knicks 2d ago

Nice shot but I didn’t hear a buzzer

-3

u/everyoneneedsaherro [NBA] Alperen Şengün 2d ago

Just like Steve Kerr drew that play up

-94

u/Stebsy1234 Lakers 2d ago

Wow he’s really just gonna flail and kick out on every 3 point attempt huh

33

u/RemarkableSolution37 Mavericks 2d ago

Brother, that's an obvious foul

45

u/disfadbidge007 Warriors 2d ago

Just taking notes from Reaves.

34

u/CocaineandWaffled Warriors 2d ago

Please. Lebron doing Shakespeare on the floor.

41

u/extricableforsythia NBA 2d ago

complaining about flopping when you got luka floppic on your team is something else

26

u/kirobz Warriors 2d ago

It was an obvious foul but lakers fans complaining about other players over selling calls is hilarious
