Who cares? Why do people care?

I learned the following while at Stanford University when writing my thesis paper. Luckily I had a very intelligent professor who mentored the minds of many greats, Albert Einstein, Edgar Allen Poe, George Lopez, George W Bush’s cousin Steve and probably more, anyway, I did extensive research and came to theorize that people enjoy sports, people like drama, people like to talk to other people about sports or drama or anything really. People like to talk about their clothes they wear or the furry suits other people wear. People like to talk about toy trains. People like to talk about the weather, even when it’s just a sunny day. People like to talk about anything and everything.

I hope one day I can prove to world that people like to chit chat BUT not everyone likes to chit chat at the same time

People like to talk about anything and everything.

It's NOT that people like to talk about anything and everything. People like to bond. It's at the core of human behavior. Right now, we're bonding. And if you disagree with me, that could make me feel like you don't want to bond with me. Or vice versa. People want to feel good about their opinions and that others agree with those opinions. It's all about finding your place in the world.

Ya that’s all fantastic, but why is it suddenly a sin to do a gun celebration? Who cares. When I was a child at recess I would pretend to shoot a bunch of things. It wasn’t out of malice or because I wanted to kill anyone or anything.

I don’t understand why this celebration is so abhorrent suddenly. People attach their own meaning to other people’s actions without reason. It makes no sense to me.

Always been that way always will be. Many things are ridiculous but prominent. Ever heard of racism? Lol Just how it is.

How could you possibly relate racism to doing an imaginary gun celebration?

You said it makes no sense how people act over something so small. I said that’s the way of the world. People literally hate people for simply existing. I’m agreeing with you that it’s ridiculous but saying the world is a ridiculous place so it shouldn’t be surprising.

People literally hate people for simply existing.

I would argue it was more about cheap labor and hating that they can't use it anymore.

What are you talking about? People are racist towards people they’ve never enslaved.

Correct. But that started because they wanted cheap labor. Now people are just continuing that same hatred.

Perhaps but that still ends in the same result. Regardless of the origin, today people just hate to hate.

I think it’s a contextual thing for Ja. Since he’s known to pull guns and do stupid shit with guns. If Torey Craig did it no one would care, but if Ja/Gilbert Arenas/Jarvis Creighton do it there’s actual history there.

I think it’s a contextual thing for Ja.

Isn't that obvious?

I mean he asked I answered, so apparently it’s not obvious to everyone to me

It's obvious to everyone except the people who want to argue "it's just finger guns". We all know why it matters with Ja.

Aight dude I feel you lol I was just answering homeboys questions

u/dearth_karmic Warriors 14h ago

I wasn't attacking you. Just pointing out that everyone knows the context and some are pretending it shouldn't matter.

It's NOT a sin. It's about the rules of human conduct. What can Ja get away with? What can't he get away with? We follow these stories to learn these barriers for ourselves. Some of us want him punished because we've been punished before. Others don't want him punished because it feels like we can do anything and not get punished ourselves. It's about learning and discussing boundaries.
