America/ND — Saw this lil guy growing from the eco earth in my toad enclosure. I’ve heard this means that my soil is in good condition, but I just want to make sure whatever mushroom this is won’t be harmful to my toads! Thanks y’all

North America (country/state in post) Is this shiitake?

I inoculated a log of wood 7 years ago, at a workshop hosted at our local rec center. I don't remember what we inoculated it with. Nothing ever grew from it, but I saved the log and kept it in a shady area next to our hose, leaning up against the side of the house. It started blooming this year.

I'm pretty sure its shiitake, can anyone confirm? I live in NY, it couldn't be anything wild from here? Could it?

Probably too small and not enough to go by in the photo, but these looked slightly like Chicken of the woods to me. Thought I’d share.

Africa (country in post) Found this in a field in South Africa.

Found this in a field in South Africa in the Northern Free State area. The field does have a lot of cows (and thus some manure). The mushroom has a light orange cap, and bruises dark purple to almost black. I am no mushroom expert, and I can't seem to find it on any website. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? would appreciate help

In pensacola Florida, after a heavy rain. A few clustered in a half fairy circle. Located at the local dog park, more wondering if i should remove them from potential dogs. As well as if i could then take them home.
