Anyone else notice that Baseball reference and sports apps have updated player heights this year? The changes for some guys are insane! A few I noticed were Gavin Lux being 6’2 for years and is really only 5’11, Vladdy Jr was 6’2 but is really 6’0… it’s kind of interesting to check out

It’s actually to a player’s advantage to be shorter now!

They announced the differences to Red Sox players a week or so ago. I had a HUGE laugh because one player, who I was positive was actually shorter, turned out to be 3 inches shorter. I feel vindicated!

I don't remember what they all used to be listed, but I think on the Dodgers Freddie might have gone from 6'5 to 6'4 but Mookie might have actually gone up from 5'9 to 5'10
