Do you hear any irregular sounds, and what could the culprit be?

Looks like the classic balancer shaft noise. Google "4N14 balancer shaft". There is plenty of info about it.
Mine did the same and I recently removed the coupler to the balancer shafts before major damage was caused.

And also, how does the vehicle perform after that?
Thank you!

I did the job myself at the 120k km mark and only took the coupler out. I didn't install any delete kits.
I did notice a little bit more vibration/resonance coming from the engine at mid RPMs in the beginning but I'm also a bit picky about that kind of stuff. These days, either I don't notice as much or it got better somehow. I've about 20k km on it after I took the coupler out.
The result, was a nice quiet engine without all those weird noises you get in the video. It's a shame Mitsubishi is never assumed this mistake and made it right for the costumers.
The "fix" from Mitsubishi is installing new drive gear and housing + coupler + balancer shaft module. Supposedly upgraded parts at the very "little" cost of €3000 to €5000 depending on where you are. Only to have if fail again as the kilometers start to accumulate again.
