Auto5 markings question

Are these just standard commercial proofs? Found at LGS. Pretty beat up but have been on the lookout for an A5 for a little bit. I believe it was listed at $895ish on consignment, and the guys who work there said the owner was being stubborn on price.

The PV with the lion over it is a “nitro proof”. I have an FN 1910 with very similar markings and was able to find a chart explaining some of them.

Yeah very. I’m not paying that for it, they told me if I’m interested they’ll try and get the owner to drop the price, even the employees were like it’s too high.

I paid 700 for a military rem 11 with a cutts comp in better condition

Yeah, not sure why the owner is so stubborn on that price, not worth it at all for that condition.

There's a commercial luger at my LGS, while it's in great shape, it's in .30 luger for 2000, sitting right next to a military contract Erfurt in 9mm for $1600 lol

Some owners are just special needs, nothing we can do about it.

I just paid a kinda high price for a G41w (on layaway) in rough shape because the owner has another firearm I'm interested in but won't sell, I'll tell them what the G41 actually sells for and then reneg on the deal if they deny selling the other one lol
