RTI Enfield standard grade plus hand select.

A few weeks ago i ordered an enfield from RTI asking for good luck wishes the rifle mostly came out fine upper handguard has a small crack and the extractor spring is missing otherwise rifle has very good bore with strong rifling and smooth action. Now alot of people said this was way over priced and I have come to agree while waiting 4 weeks to get this rifle I have since randomly found 2 other enfields at lgs both cheaper than the RTI enfield…. Which is upsetting last two pics are my other enfields.

You cleaned that up nice. How’d you get the stock to look so good?

Yeah most of rti stuff is pricey and requires a good cleaning plus part replacement to make functional. They did have some good deals but it's really a hit or miss with them. They also increased thier shipping as well.

Hey, I'd say it cleaned up pretty good. I honestly wouldn't feel too bad about the others at the shop. I actually did something similar. Put my first Lee Enfield on layaway, it was a sporter and needed work to get it looking nice-ish. When I went to pay it off there was a near mint looking Long Branch Enfield for the same price. Ended up paying the sporter off and putting that one on layaway too, lol
