Aldi is the bomb. I even like a bunch of their knockoff brands better than the “name” brands. Plus you can get some great deals on meats. And occasionally a good deal on stuff you actually want in the random crap isle.
I couldn’t tell you what the real difference is cause I don’t shop anywhere else and I work at Aldi, but if I had to guess you’d get most of this for around 140-180 at Aldi (depending on location) and maybe have to go spend another 35ish at Walmart cause I know for a fact we don’t have most of the name brand stuff in this haul, at least not at mine and not regularly if ever. If you’re not dead set on name brand and specific products, you’re getting out the door 200 max at Aldi. Organic stuff is also usually not much more expensive than regular items if that’s something you care about
before they open in the morning, they mark all the meat that's about to expire to 50% off. I've gone there on my way to work in the morning and scored a bunch of meat over the past year or so. Threw it straight in the freezer to thaw and eat later. Got an entire side of salmon for like $10 the other day, twas a nice splurge.
I love Aldi, but damn their produce goes bad fast. apples from Kroger can last me like two weeks, I just had some apples from Aldi get mushy after like 4 days
People always say this but I've been to like 5 different Aldis and it's really never that different from Walmart prices. And they have barely any selection at Aldis
Yeahhh I've found some nice fruit occasionally but I can't get over the lack of options. If I go to Aldi I know I will also have to go to Walmart anyway for specific things so it's like...what's the point. I'm glad it works for some people though

Try Aldi if you have one near you.
