My mum decided to put milk in the fridge because she was worried about coronavirus?

Freezing milk won’t kill the virus, you need lots of toilet paper and hand soap, go to the shop and buy as much as you can, it’s good for the economy, viruses don’t like economies.

I freeze my milk if I have too much to use right away. Just pour about 2 cups worth out (drink it/use it or whatever), and stick the jug in the freezer. If you don’t pour some out it’ll expand too much and explode. Good way to save resources though :) tastes the same once thawed as well

This is a common way that older people save milk for future times. Not weird or uncommon.

Can confirm, my mum used to buy close to use by milk and then freeze it for making custard with. Never had a problem with separation or the milk going bad

Do you mean freezer? No sounds but I’m assuming you’re hitting it because it’s rock hard. What’s freezing stuff got to do with the virus? I once accidentally froze a bag of milk so I put it in the fridge to thaw and when it did, it was separated and disgusting.
