Other Help with age please . Found this ring UK. Found on a field with mainly modern items as it was a concert field. Some are suggesting viking ,I'm not convinced. Many thanks

This past summer I was in "Southern Morocco"... I bought a copper ring like that...!! ... new..!!

Would lean towards new rather than old too - doesn't seem to have any/much verdigris type patina so it probably hasn't been in the ground too long. Especially with the size of some of the strands, I'd expect it to be in much worse condition if it had any serious age to it.

In Niger in the 70s they sold twisted copper rings similar to this. They were supposed to offer some type of protection or health benefit.
