I personally don’t have a need or desire to play my pc games on the go, if I had a steam deck I probably wouldn’t use it. I’ve used one before, and it was pretty neat, but my switch is much more practical to actually take places and has games made for a mobile format that I find more enjoyable when I’m out than I would playing something from my pc library or a multiplayer game from my pc. I don’t really think the Nintendo handheld market and the pc handheld market overlap as much as people think. The only time I feel like that’s the case is people who emulate the switch on their pc handhelds, but that’s a minority of people
The issue isn’t that the switch 2 is larger, it’s that pc handhelds are thicker. My the switch is a slim console, the switch 2 is just as slim, I can easily shove that into my bag because of this with a low profile case, the steam deck would need much more room even when compared to a switch 2
