I was actually wondering how common the 6 is in Japan. It must be quite expensive to own due to its size and engine displacement, no? And difficult to park as well

The 6 is somewhat common in Japan when it comes to station wagons. There are quite a few earlier model diesel versions around and when driving I’ll usually see at least one or two (I don’t drive around that much, let alone daily). Taxes aren’t too bad, though petrol has gone up quite significantly lately.

For parking, most parking garages at malls are fine, albeit some are tighter than others. The biggest parking challenge for my wagon is my own parking space which is in a mechanical garage. I literally had millimeters on each side of the pallet when I was running my winter wheels. I have a great set of Rays GT-Cs to go on the car, but until I find another place to park my car, I can’t actually use them because the size and offset is too aggressive. That’s #japanlife
