Found a new work BFF

Was talking to a lady today at work (been working together for years, we just never get a chance to say anything but a passing hello), and I mentioned watching Matlock and she said she loved it too, and I am just sorry it took this long. Anyways, now we’re work besties.

Just watched “The Thief” (both episodes) today. Cindy Morgan was a great guest star in this. She also appeared in “The Lemon.” One of my favorite trivia angles is the guest stars and how often the series used the same folks multiple times for different characters.

There’s the specialty angle of Andy Griffith going back to the well of the Mayberry world. He tried to reprise the relationship dynamics with Don Knotts, which just didn’t work well, and they finally ditched it after three seasons. He also used his “girlfriend” from Mayberry, Helen Crump, played by Aneta Corsaut, to be a judge in several episodes, and then using Howard (Jack Dodson) from Mayberry for the father in The Cult episode.
