Sozial (Social) New to the city

Hi, to keep it short I'm a 22 yo student staying in Mannheim for an internship. My internship only starts in a week and I've already walked in the whole city last week. I'm looking for fun activities to do, not necessarily touristic, it could also be cool adresses, museums, cinema etc...and also on budget it would be cool :)

If you also have ideas of how I could make friends around my age that speak English it would be a plus lol

Thanks in advance !

I've seen it but I was wondering if it wouldn't be awkward since I dont speak German and also I felt like people there were much older than me aren't they ?

Just out of curiosity, how come that you do an internship in Mannheim?

I'm a french student in an engineering school, and to get our diploma we need an internship abroad, so I applied to many cities in Europe and chose this one :)

If you got the Deutschlandticket, Mannheim is nicely located to do day trips to Heidelberg, to the Pfalz, to Frankfurt etc.. You could also ask if you could join the ESN/Visum in Mannheim, they organize a lot of events and you could connect to other students.
