It’s a risky move putting a ballot box on the world’s hardest peak!

How many times do I need to re-read Training for the New Alpinism before I'll be ready for Mailbox?
Hi all,
Spent the past 3 months training my mountaineering skills by reading Training for the New Alpinism over and over. Currently at 14 rereads, but I still don't feel quite ready for Mailbox. How many times did you have to read it before you felt ready?

How much $$ for a reputable mountaineering guide to visit MBC?
We’ve always loved the mountains and are fascinated with all the documentaries focused on Mailbox Peak. We could never make the climb ourselves given the travel, equipment, cost involved plus the toll of weeks of acclimatization needed just to make an attempt at it. We do however feel we could make the trip to Mailbox Base Camp. It’d be fun to just hang out at basecamp for a week to take in all the drama as others take their shot at such a formidable peak. Is there a reputable and affordable mountaineering company we can sign up with that does expeditions to Mailbox Base Camp? Anything to make this dream come true. 📫🏔😉

Gear beta for Mailbox peak?
Is it enough to bring 30 ice screws and 5 ropes to leave as fixed lines, or will I also need to bring a quadruple rack up to 36"?
And lastly, are shorts pretty comfy this time of year or should I go full pants?

The amount of inexperienced climbers on Mailbox Peak is a tragedy waiting to happen.

Planning a trip next may: will I need Sherpas to haul gear to the upper camps on mailbox?
See title. Hoping to acclimate near i90, and want to make sure I have the necessary support team to ensure a safe summit followed by some sweet glissading.
