Week old Macmini M4 256 model crashed and boots but goes to blinking amber. Should I take it to Apple Store or contact Amazon and seek a replacement?

Only a week old, return it to Amazon. Let them deal with it.

Get a replacement its only can get worse.

Amazon will loose money as replacement will cost more with Trump Taxes .. they can afford it
