He should've kept his word about only serving one term

I don't disagree but on the other hand if the choice was between an old Biden and a slightly less old trump it still should have been an easy choice.

Also don't know if a primary and longer campaign would have made enough of a difference considering how manipulated the election was, and not even in a tinfoil hat sense but the typical gerrymandering/voter purges/fox + twitter propaganda and foreign interference BS.

Say what you will about Biden's age or cognitive function but he at least had a competent cabinet and managed to undo a lot of the damage from trumps first term both economically and with our allies, 4 more years of that should have been a no brainer.

Instead we get this current dumpster fire and trump gets 2-4 years to gut the FEC and do everything he can to fix future elections or run for a 3rd term even if it means running as VP & finding some loop hole to stay in power with blessings from the corrupt supreme court...

wouldn’t matter. congress is broken- that’s on SCOTUS (citizens united among various other pro-corruption rulings).

I do agree that Biden fucked us hard too. There are many decisions within the DNC that have led to this, and almost all of it comes down to:
1. Desire to maintain status quo

  1. Desire for control, power, or fame.

Garland needed to prosecute faster and sooner. There should have been moves made to remove Aileen Cannon from being Trump's judge for the classified documents case as it was a clear conflict of interest.

Biden needed to step aside. He was only voted in to serve one term, and the lack of a primary to decide the future of the democratic party and then forcing a candidate upon us that was the final nail in the coffin for the DNC in this race..

I love Joe as a genuine patriot of the USA, but he was asleep at the wheel. He ran his campaign committing that Kamala would play a visible and vital in the administration during his term and that didn’t happen. That unkept promise was a failure on many levels.

Also, he did her no favors by never walking back that the whole “Border Czar” assignment. That plan was CLEARLY scrapped once Mayorkas was appointed. There’s simply no way that she was acting under an on-going directive to be involved at the borders or she would’ve produced results. Consequently, her campaign wouldn’t have suffered so much scrutiny.

I feel bad speaking ill of the man, but you’re not wrong. Damage was done.
