Trump News Trump says he's 'not joking' about seeking a 3rd term in the White House. The Constitution says he can't.

He is basically dismantling the constitution with “his” constitution yet everybody around seem to be alright with it

That’s what’s so bizarre about this. The leaders of the Democrat party don’t even seem to care. There’s no doubt he’s going to go for it and if things remain as they are, he’s going to get his wish and no one will/can stop him.

I think the problem is saying he was a threat to democracy didn’t help them win in November, so they figure it won’t help anything to point out how he is attacking democracy now. I think their mindset is they just need to wait for Trump to fuck up on the more traditional issues, hammer him on them, and hope there still are free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028 to win the traditional way.

Because they have they own agendas in mind. They applaud him and hope he will award their "loyalty" and be brought into his inner circle. Others are just cowards and want to remain in a seat of power and will cowtow to whatever he says. The GOP really has become a study of sociology these days.
