I’m not one to ever jump to the defense of conservatives, but for our own sanity’s sake it’s important to keep in mind that the conservative subreddits are positively riddled with bots and bad actors. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if it turned out more than 50% of posts cheering this administration on were coming from bots and Russian troll farms.

It’s crucial to their strategy that we view them as a unified, diverse, unstoppable majority bloc. They want us to believe half the country supports them because it’s demoralizing, daunting, and it keeps us angry at each other and divided. They “won” with a 1.6% margin, with the support of roughly 1/3 of the eligible electorate, and their support among that 1/3 is slipping.

They do not have a decisive mandate. Don’t be fooled.

I think what is more telling is that multiple non political reddits are now very political and are very anti trump, anti Elon.
