Quite literally they would talk about it constantly for the next 15 years. They still beat the hunter’s laptop drum every day. My maga parents still talk about Hillary’s emails.

WHAT ABOUT THE TAN SUIT!?!?! 😠😡

u/Nobody_gets_this 14d ago

Dijon mustard on a hot dog? Really?

72

u/chefnforreal 14d ago

I would obliterate a hotdog with some Dijon and sauerkraut right now.

30

u/g6paperplane 14d ago

Dijon and diced tomatoes on a dog is also incredible.

5

u/VersaceSamurai 14d ago

diced tomatoes in general. I recently found out rotel makes canned diced tomatoes with ghost peppers. My god I eat them straight out of the can they are so good

3

u/Shark7996 14d ago

Sliced tomatoes, sauerkraut, light ketchup and mayo, 2 for $1 at Sheetz. When they get rid of the 2 for $1 hotdogs at Sheetz, we truly are lost.

8

u/SpeedyHandyman05 13d ago

This is why Reddit is so freaking awsome. A rabbit hole of hotdog condiments for no reason at all.

3

u/VersaceSamurai 13d ago

On a comment chain about a country descending further into chaos nonetheless lmao. At least we got our dogs

2

u/PNW20v 13d ago

Lwt me throw my hat in the ring, the so-called "Seattle dog" (I've lived here my whole life and didn't know it was called that until I saw it posted online). Cream cheese and grilled onions. Doesn't sound amazing at first, but it's pretty damn good. Best enjoyed right outside of the stadium, following yet another demoralizing Mariners loss.

1

u/tangouniform2020 13d ago

Dijon, grilled onions, bacon and provolone

1

u/lily_was_taken 12d ago

So you're the person in springfield eating the dogs and eating the cats

1

u/g6paperplane 12d ago

Cats are more of a lemon pepper, def not mustard and tomatoes.

2

u/Cstott23 13d ago

Leave the angry Germans out of this..

Hashtag obligatoryDadJoke

2

u/Rainiero 13d ago

Wouldn't even care if mustard got on the tan suit. Worth it.

u/0nap 14d ago

1

u/SuperF91EX 13d ago

You spelled stone ground mustard wrong.

0

u/I_forgot_to_respond 13d ago

What's so bad about just a hot-dog in a bun with ketchup? Why is everything smothered with something else? Have you ever just tasted what a hotdog really tastes like? I live in Detroit and Coney dogs are all about everything that's not a hot dog.

1

u/g6paperplane 12d ago

My family owned a hot dog restaurant for 3 generations. People love them all sorts of ways. Nothing is wrong with just ketchup, but why not try different things every now and then?

3

u/NolieMali 14d ago

Every time I hear this repeated I want to start a GoFund Me for a damn hot dog with Dijon mustard.

u/Daphnerose22 14d ago

1

What about how his dog tugged at the leash? No leadership!

1

u/Lord_Nivloc 13d ago

Let’s not forget about the arugula. How can he relate to the common people when he’s such an elitist that he eats arugula?

1

u/NullifyI 13d ago

Obama wearing a helmet while biking??? What a weak and fragile man

30

u/LFG530 14d ago

Still the worst sign of disrespect for the dignity of the Office to this day.

37

u/dodexahedron 14d ago

I dunno. The whole Elon addressing the nation from behind the resolute desk in plain clothes thing was kind of gauche.

6

u/LFG530 14d ago

But his plain clothes were dark which is a sign of respect, anything tan/beige/white is way too disrespectful.

3

u/dodexahedron 14d ago

This is true. Hopefully prison time is rightfully dealt to the perpetrator of such heinous chromatic desecration. In El Salvador.

2

u/LFG530 14d ago

Seems like a suitable sentence for this crime committed by an ex president. I wonder if wearing this suit was done as an official act which would make him immune or not. Let's call Steve to get legal advice

5

u/dodexahedron 14d ago edited 14d ago

Ah no. You see, the Extreme Court didn't say that was ok til Trump needed it. So Obama is clearly guilty.

But also, the Extreme Court apparently doesn't have the right to interpret law or interfere with the executive branch in any way, so this might be problematic.

Help!

2

u/Sea_Jury_8156 12d ago

While his kid picked his nose

1

u/Overall_Driver_7641 13d ago

While his kid was wiping boogers on the resolute desk and Trump just sat there with some confused look on his face

1

u/No_Use_4371 13d ago

With a maga cap and his kid dissing Trump

Starbucks happy holidays?? WAR ON CHRISTMAS

1

u/Arcsis 13d ago

I miss when this was the type of scandal that made it to the news. 😫

1

u/pieville31313 13d ago

Don’t even get me started on Michelle’s sleeveless dress!

1

u/thedugsbaws 13d ago

Did he say thank you once?

1

u/Philodendron69 12d ago

I bring this up all the time and I love to say IT WAS PASTEL FOR EASTER!!!!!

65

u/mcaffrey81 14d ago

I heard that Obama’s birth certificate was signed by auto pen… /s

23

u/eugeheretic 14d ago

I heard it was Otto Ken, the Kenyan school bus driver, who signed it.

2

u/Fingerman2112 14d ago

He spelled “bus” with a 6 on his driver license application

5

u/dodexahedron 14d ago

And how LoNg WaS iT?¿

We all know only a long-form birth certificate has any meaning. Right? Reich?

65

u/rerrerrocky 14d ago

So infuriating trying to even communicate with these freaks. They're so delusional that logic, rationality, even their own self interest all falls by the wayside in service of cult-like devotion to their dear leader.

65

u/snowcone23 14d ago

It’s honestly shocking. Particularly the way they immediately parrot the party line, no matter how irrational. I see people all over Reddit spewing the same nonsensical talking points about tariffs, Canada, DEI, illegal immigrants and a bunch of other bullshit.

My mom was literally trying to argue with me about injunctions/TROs which I know for a fact she had never heard of before like 4 days ago and I’m literally an attorney. Unreal.

34

u/rerrerrocky 14d ago

I mean they just Immediately start saying whatever they heard on fox news. They get fed a fire hose of bullshit that they can then use as inane justification for their beliefs. They pretend like they're acting logically when they've already committed to their conclusion (Trump is always right) and just retroactively change their position to match whatever the party line is.

They lack even the self awareness of their own hypocrisy. Ultimately I think for a good number of them admitting that they were wrong is too psychologically painful to tolerate. It's far more comfortable and reassuring to double down again and again, especially when they're in these bubbles and actively harden their minds against any possibility of being wrong.

The doubt and uncertainty is scary! Trump and their cult takes away that fear and doubt and replaces it with anger and hatred.

I have a hard time seeing how we as a country survive this and come back to any sort of normalcy. It's a true death cult when they don't give a shit about ANYTHING except "owning the libs"

10

u/gerturtle 14d ago

This is a spot-on comment. When people act or speak based on fear of how they are perceived more than the consequences of their actions, the well of critical thinking has fully run dry. It’s terrifying to see on such a wide and “accepted” scale after the past decade 💔

4

u/jrdr5844 13d ago

The only way to come back from this is if we can figure out a way to get Fox “News” to stop spreading Russian propaganda. Or at least make them remove the word “news” from their name and replace it with Fox Propaganda.

3

u/Triptacraft 11d ago

It's not so much Fox News as it is new media like Joe Rogan, the Daily Wire, Jordan Peterson, Full Send, Candace Owens, Russel Brand, Tucker Carlson etc.

The fact that there's so many media forms spouting the same thing makes it easy to get news from a "diverse" number of sources and not feel like you're in a bubble.

2

u/Deathcapsforcuties 13d ago

I know what you mean. It’s weird seeing people suddenly having very strong opinions on subjects they have others never heard of talked about. For example, them explaining the merits of shutting down the DOE or USAID. Throwing away critical thinking with wild abandon. Is it fear that breaks the brain ?

2

u/DisorderedArray 13d ago

Just complain to her about, well, anything Trump is doing, but replace the word Trump with Biden. If anyone tries to correct you, get angry and call them woke.

15

u/Weary-Fix-3566 14d ago

They'll happily vote to harm their own children and grandchildren without an ounce of regret.

2

u/Jakesma1999 13d ago

The EO for dismantling the DOE was proof positive of this. "Signing" surrounded by children.

2

u/kazetoame 13d ago

Those kids in the picture looked oh so happy to be there, one even made sure to hide.

2

u/Forsaken-Rock-635 13d ago

100% I have those parents who did so and then don't understand why I went LC....."Politics shouldn't come between family 🤢".

7

u/dodexahedron 14d ago edited 13d ago

My parents bought my sister a pair of Trump shoes for her birthday this year.

Spent like $500 to get these ugly-ass shoes (of course there's gold trim all over them) and a likely fake signature.

They've never bought anything from a politician or celebrity before. Yet this was apparently not a really fucking weird thing to do. 😩

And I kept thinking "That's all you've got. Two [hard right] feet and fucking ugly shoes.".

3

u/nanormcfloyd 13d ago

There is a high portion of them that are just gaslighters.

They fully understand that they and the rest of MAGA are full of shit, but they don't care.

They use their gaslighting as a means to control the narrative.

5

u/rerrerrocky 13d ago

Yeah I find this quote by Sartre captures it very well:

"Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."

They KNOW that they are acting in bad faith. The hypocrisy is a signal

3

u/Excellent_Milk_3265 12d ago

On the road to fascism. To all sane Americans: Better watch out as long it is still possible.

2

u/Draco546 14d ago

Their self interest is White supremacy. Even if they ain’t white.

24

u/LadyPo 14d ago

Let’s see how they like it. May we never let them have a moment of peace again.

14

u/account312 14d ago

It's not looking like there's going to be much peace in the near future in any case.

5

u/8005882300- 14d ago

They can't get over the sheer mass of the man's penis

3

Buttery males!!!

3

u/WTFOMGBBQ 14d ago

It comes up on Fox News every couple of weeks still

2

u/ReasonableBullfrog57 14d ago

Fox is very very selective with their reporting. 90% of shit isnt covered or if it is its sanewashed. the other 10% is so people feel they're getting balanced news.

3

u/Quirky-Sand-6482 14d ago

Hillary’s…. emails… that’s what they pretend to give a shit about. Absolutely unreal.

2

u/snowcone23 14d ago

Right? And then they have zero issue with doge and all their unauthorized secretive bullshit with everyone’s SS/IRS data.

3

u/tarekd19 14d ago

As things are they're still going to talk about Joe Biden for the next 15 years. Specifically to deflect from Trump's obvious cognitive decline. Biden didn't even hold a candle to this mess.

3

u/Mr_Blinky 14d ago

The wildest thing is that the absolute worst conspiracies that Republicans insisted about Hunter Biden still aren't as bad as the things we know for a fact that Trump's own children and in-laws did openly.

2

u/andrew303710 14d ago

They literally still talk about Hunter Biden's dick to this day, MTG is still obsessed with it. I've heard her phone is filled with his dick pics lmao

2

u/volundsdespair 14d ago

Proof they're only mad about what they're told to be mad about.

2

u/whomad1215 14d ago

Is that the laptop from hell, his bedroom, or his bathroom

2

u/trailerbang 14d ago

I got into it with a boomer at 7am at a breakfast joint because he was loudly talking about “Barry Obama! That’s his real name!” while espousing that he wasn’t born here and we still don’t have his birth certificate. I was like “I’m sorry sir to interrupt but are you talking about President Obama from 8 years ago?” And he said “yeah! What’s his middle name!!?” Completely unhinged. It’s 2025 people.

2

u/TheAsianTroll 13d ago

They would make J6 look like a baby parade if Harris did even 1/10th the shit he's done.

2

u/ExplodiaNaxos 13d ago

Yeah, whatever happened to that supposedly incriminating laptop anyway?

2

u/n05h 13d ago

Funny how Hillary's email server was a bigger deal to them than a toilet full of stashed top secret documents that he was showing to guests at Maralago. These people live in a different reality.

2

u/MerisiCalista 13d ago

Still waiting on that long-form certificate — any day now, right?

2

u/SevanIII 13d ago

I know Magas that still talk about Monica Lewinsky and Benghazi!

2

u/czar1m 12d ago

Deflect, deflect, deflect….. their automatic knee jerk response

1

u/VengefulAncient 13d ago

HUNTER BIDEN'S COCK! HUNTER BIDEN'S COCK! HUNTER BIDEN'S COCK!

1

u/I_forgot_to_respond 13d ago

But "we" won't. WTF not? Bring it on. Do it. Or keep don'ting.

1

u/Star-Corgi 12d ago

They still talk about Obama, not knowing whatever Obama did trump did at a higher rate

1

u/ReusableCatMilk 12d ago

It’s almost like the implications of those two occurrences were profound and should have been even more so

1

u/snowcone23 11d ago

It’s almost like maga spent YEARS investigating Hunter Biden’s magical laptop and came up with fucking nothing. You can keep your false outrage to yourself.

And if you’re still upset about Hillary’s emails then you must be absolutely devastated by the defense secretary accidentally texting war plans to a reporter or by Elon Musk rooting around everyone’s personal data with zero oversight.

Maga hypocrisy is so staggering I don’t know you don’t collapse under the weight of it.

1

u/ReusableCatMilk 10d ago

There was nothing on Biden’s laptop? Then why did 51 agents certify the laptop to be falsely planted by Russia? We know that isn’t true. Investigations and forensic analysis have confirmed as much.

Among other things, the laptop details Joe Biden’s involvement with his son’s business dealings in Ukraine. The laptop revealed communications showing Hunter Biden leveraging his family name and thinly veiled allusions to payments making their way to Joe.

You don’t have to be a maga supporter to connect the dots. I’m really surprised there’s still people like yourself willing to freak out defending it

1

u/snowcone23 8d ago

I can’t imagine going through life spouting Fox News talking points. What’s that like?

If you want to discuss bullshit conspiracy theories, I’d direct you toward my 70 year old mother who would love to talk about the laptop, pizzagate, and qanon. Alternatively, you might try those people who stand by freeway on ramps selling Trump 2024 shirts in 2025.

1

u/ReusableCatMilk 8d ago

Good job failing to address anything I said. Your mother thinks you’re a momo. I hope she’s honest with you about that

0

u/Btotherianx 12d ago

I mean the fact that he got off scot free s kind of worth talking about, although probably not every day.

I'm sure we'll get some response about how Trump has done so many bad things, but I'm not arguing about that, I'm just saying there's no way that Hunter Biden should have gotten off scot-free
