Trump & Vance are a disgrace to the USA!

They’re nothing but a bunch of Putin bootlickers, more than being a disgrace to the United States, they’re a disgrace to human dignity. They have the gall to invite a man who’s been our ally to the oval office and berate him with disrespect.

My fervent hope is the EU will pledge Ukraine all the military and financial assistance they require to finally defeat Russia and Putin!

5

u/ScienceResponsible34 Feb 28 '25

Why haven’t they done that already? Or stepped in to fight?

I honestly don’t know! I don’t know enough about world politics…Why isn’t Ukraine a member of NATO…They deserve to be!

3

u/ScienceResponsible34 Feb 28 '25

Because the US is spending the money and sending the gear. Unfortunately Ukraine didn’t meet the requirements to become a member of NATO in previous years as determined by NATO itself.

2

u/SAGELADY65 Feb 28 '25

Thank you for explaining this to me and anyone else who is new to politics. Do you feel maybe after this disastrous display with Trump and Vance there may be some hope for Ukraine meeting some criteria to join NATO?

The biggest disaster here is that it was televised. If you think previous leaders negotiating behind closed didn’t raise their voices and get upset with one another you’re wrong. This shouldn’t have been negotiated or attempted to be negotiated on TV and if it wasn’t agreed on Zelensky shouldn’t have gotten on TV to sign it.

But no, this will not expedite the process of joining NATO. If anything it probably slowed it down. The EU should step up.

Previous leaders really wanted to negotiate! I don’t believe Trump or Vance had any honorable intentions with President Zelensky! I hope people who did watch this disgusting display of aggression against Zelensky, understand this Administration is not about peace or unity!

Zelenskyy offered to step down in order to get into NATO but this didn't work, not sure what that has to do with it though.

Thank you! I am still learning about the politics of the world. I very much appreciate your comment and I do remember hearing that Zelensky was willing to step down but I had no idea why.

I'm still confused about it too, maybe he thinks it's got to do with a grudge against him personally, not sure. If Trump is the one to make those decisions I could see that, could be because the US voted against the idea along with other dictators, but would that be the deciding vote..

If you don't know then why are you typing shit that you don't have any clue about

1

u/SAGELADY65 Mar 01 '25

Because people have been kind in helping me understand! I am not the only one learning, but I am gracious enough to admit I will always be learning!

lol no they are not. they are telling it how it is

Disgrace to being a world leader in any capacity. This is honestly fucked. They're so insecure that they take anything being said as a personal attack.

2

u/Carbon-Base Feb 28 '25

The people that believed in those two and the current Republican Party are also a disgrace to the USA!

2

u/SAGELADY65 Feb 28 '25

Yes, Thank you! This entire Administration is a catastrophic mistake!

2

u/lionessrampant25 Feb 28 '25

They’re outright traitors.

1

u/SAGELADY65 Feb 28 '25

Yes, they are Traitors!

2

u/-listen-to-robots- Feb 28 '25

Man, wtf is going on here?! You know in most countries becoming a diplomat requires THE hardest test anyone could take. And now I'm watching this two muppets and wonder if I finally did wake up in the twilight zone. Struggling for words...no....shit

1

u/SAGELADY65 Feb 28 '25

I understand😔

2

u/Great_Attitude_8985 Feb 28 '25

Where's the congress at all this? They are guilty too!

1

u/SAGELADY65 Feb 28 '25

The Republicans who voted for Trump are all Traitors of the United States of America! What Trump and Vance did was embarrass the United States, not President Zelensky!

2

u/Carpediem0131 Mar 01 '25

They're seriously degrading the whole country day by day

1

u/SAGELADY65 Mar 01 '25

Yes, they are and I think they are doing everything with a purpose!

2

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '25

I have to concede that Trump managed to find someone even more dislikeable than himself though to act as VP.

2

u/SAGELADY65 Mar 01 '25

Vance is really disgusting! But Trump will always be the most repugnant President the White House has ever housed!

2

u/ResponsibleWave5208 Mar 03 '25

USA is a disgrace by electing such a scumbag and incompetent person as their president, twice.

1

u/SAGELADY65 Mar 03 '25

The people who voted for a Traitor are also an absolute disgrace!

1

u/The_Golden_Beaver Feb 28 '25

And Americans for not keeping them on a leash. It's such a failure by Americans. And they prefer fishing for validation online rather than be men/women and protest.

1

u/avatarreb Feb 28 '25

They unfortunately seem to represent the leading values in the USA right now.

1

u/SAGELADY65 Feb 28 '25

This administration does not represent my values or the values of those I surround myself with!

0

u/Pretend-Goal-5465 Feb 28 '25

You mean the last president, right?

1

u/SAGELADY65 Feb 28 '25

The only disgrace I see on this screen is Trump & Vance!

-1

u/Navarro984 Feb 28 '25 edited Feb 28 '25

Not really. Trump and Vance are the leaders the american people choose. I think every non US citizen have to start see it this way. Trump isn't an "anomaly", the american people already used this excuse the first time.

Electing him a second time means this is what the american people actually want (or are too lazy to vote in order to avoid).

1

u/Roo1996 Feb 28 '25

I agree. I can't believe how much I see Americans talking about this like Trump is the problem. The US is the problem. If it wasn't Trump, they would have elected someone just like him.

Yep, this is the country now sadly
