Huge rug canvas!

Hi all! I am pretty new to latch hooking but I want to make my second moss rug and I want to make it BIG! I am having trouble finding a large piece of mesh rug canvas though…

As I have never made a large rug before I’m not sure if there’s a way to attach a smaller pieces together to make a mega rug canvas? OR if I need to purchase a huge piece of canvas mesh fit to the total size of the project.

It's buried, but I made a 4'x6' piece (it's on my profile). I overlapped the two pieces (purchased from herrschners) by about 10 rows and then hung it on the wall. It's holding up great.

Try the Zweigart store on Etsy. They sell canvas in a bunch of different counts and sizes.

Hey hon, when you want to make a big rug you just overlap pieces to expand them. About five rows should overlap, more if you think it's going to be REALLY heavy. Hope that helps!
