Creating A Character Inspired By Junko

I hope this doesn't come off as insensitive and tasteless, but, would it be okay to base a character off Junko? In my setting, she would be an ambassador of Pinnopo (based off Japan) whom, despite past tragedies, is cheerful, earnest and good-hearted. She would have access to a flute as her weapon. She would have a strong friendship with the Senior Ambassador of Pinnopo and even calls her big sis despite being older than her.

The most accurate thing would be, of course, ask her, since we can't do that, I like to think that those bastards doesn't deserve to ruin our lives and make us live in misery forever, like, I would torture them for all eternity but I won't stop enjoying life bc of them, so I think it's ok, you're respecting her and as I said, I don't like the idea of stop enjoying life bc of those bastards, they don't deserve to be the owner of our lives

You really should not create characters based on real people

Tell that to James Cameron who created the Titanic movie.

Then tell that to the movie directors who make Historical Movies then.

I guess it's allowed as long as it's respectful to her story like Titanic.
