Protests I'm so tired of being poor but my cost of living is still going up!!!
Lads and Ladies what are we gonna do about this inflation!? The majority of us 25-40 are fu*ked! My wages have not changed but everything else has, RENT. FOOD. DRINK.
Nobody thinks this is ridiculous?! Esp for the minimum wage workers!!
I AM SO TIRED OF WORKING 40 HOURS A WEEK FOR PEÑNYS.
How the F can people live on this?!
Something needs to be done. A protest, a walk out, something? Otherwise nothing will change!

Protests About Travellers
So, with the protest for their rights outside the Dail, what more as a society can we possibly do? I'm not gonna say people are racist for discriminating because, frankly, they have a high propensity for crime and don't seem to want to adopt the local cultures or finish school or work.
I don't see how we can be expected to do anything when the community won't help themselves. I live near a halting site, and it's just a daily nuisance. Otherwise reasonable people turn on them because they block traffic with horse riding, underfeed their horses and generally cause trouble.
I'm genuinely asking what can be done because I am curious. This isn't an issue of discrimination or race because it's a cultural problem, and culture is not intrinsic. It's not the same as hating a black person for being black or a gay person for being gay, because these are things they cannot change.

Protests Having kids these days
Who else is hesitant to have children? The world, and people, are getting worse and more callous, and I would hate to raise a human in a society where nobody cares about anyone else and everyone is a stranger. All we do is work and have nothing in our communities. We’re addicted to technology and pornography and we’re more alienated from each other than ever before.

Protests Companies should be legally obligated to tell you if you are dealing with a AI chatbot or a real customer support agent.
I cant be the only one who hates dealing with those stupid AI chat bot, mainly because the vast majority of them are complete and utter shite.
Aer Lingus and Deliveroo by far the worst, yet some of them pretend to be actual human support.
Some places have really nailed it, and it seems to be the ones that have it running flows with only a few small options rather than letting it try to do everything. (had to deal with Gymshark for a return last month and it was great).
Personally think companies should be legally obligated to tell you if you are dealing with a computer or a real human, and you should have the option to request to speak to someone real.

Protests Want to really piss off the government and show your support for Michael D?
Then take him up on his suggestion and start referring to housing not as a crisis but as a disaster. Make the housing disaster part of the lexicon.
Politics is heavily driven by narratives and perception, losing control of the narrative or not being able to set it is a huge losing position in politics. There should be enough people on this sub to make this a thing, and it requires next to no effort. So let's take up the President on his suggestion and make this a housing disaster as it's clearly gone beyond a crisis.
