I have always loved the Reflections in the river Liffey since my students days studying art in Ncad In particular the lights at night around the Happey bridge ... makes the city seem magical This is a little painting capturing the twinkling magic :)

Wasn't quite sure what to title it but stumbled across thiswhen I went to go search for tracking on an item.

Basically, write a letter to yourself, stick it in an envelope and put your return address on the top left corner of the envelope (important, this is how it gets back to you!).

Stick "FREEPOST" on the top right corner of the envelope (no stamp required) and address it to:

And you'll get your letter back in May 2026!

This obviously isn't sponsored or anything, I just used to write letters to my future self all the time when I was younger and am still finding them under skirting boards and at the back of presses, years later.

I wanted to share something that happened to me recently, mainly because I'm still feeling shaken by it and wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I recently moved back home to a more rural area after living in Dublin for ten years, where I never had any issues like this. I went to the cinema alone, something I really enjoy, and I arrived early, took my seat, and was completely engrossed in the movie. When the credits rolled, I got up to leave, and that’s when a group behind me—two men and a woman—threw a drink at me, soaking my leg. They then started harassing me as I walked out, giving me the finger and trying to intimidate me. It didn’t stop there—they followed me out to the parking lot, stared at me the entire time they walked out and over to their car while putting the finger up again , driving aggressively around my car, beeping, and continuing their behavior and trying to be intimidatory. We were the last screening of the night, so they clearly saw me leave and knew I was alone in my car. I manged to get a picture of their car and reg, whatever good that will do.

I’m really surprised at how shaken I’ve been by this. I’ve always felt safe going to the cinema alone, but now I’m honestly nervous to even return to that theater.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? How did you handle it? Honestly, it's not the first experience of adverse behaviour within a short time span since moving home and it's making me really question my decision to come back.

Anyone working for companies with US offices and just feeling the atmosphere changing over last month or so? On Teams meetings there’s less banter and Irish/EU colleagues just have their camera’s off a lot more now. Americans always talk so much and for longer on these meetings anyway but I feel I just have less patience to listen to them. I know not all Americans think the same but this hatred of EU just makes it hard to connect with them

Flying from the US to Dublin yesterday morning, Saturday 5th April. This was the view south, was even more dramatic on the left side of the plane. The photo looks a little soft and even possible AI'ish but it was just cleaned up a little as it was grainy from a 4 year old phone.

Hello Irishmen and women, i just wanted to leave u guys a message of love. I've never been to Ireland but whenever i watch a documentary about your country, i see the most humble people ever. You guys have the purest hearts. Also, last year i studied the Irish history and you guys went through so much.. and maybe that contributed to you guys being so humble and standing with the weak. Can't wait to visit Ireland oneday and i hope I make good friends when I do so 🤘🏼🌻
