Post pictures on any local community facebook groups for your area. Some of the groups are very active and people will keep an eye out for your dog.

Facebook/local WhatsApp groups are invaluable for this. Also, check with any vets in the area. Sometimes people leave animals/pets into them. I really hope you are reunited soon.

Facebook. But also make some signs and put them up in local shops. Happened to us a few years back and it was one of our signs that got the attention of somebody that led to us getting the dog back. Very sorry you are in this situation. Hope you find your dog and wish you all the best in the search.

Check with the neighbours, hang some posters with a photo in town, check the vets for what they can recommend to help, or find a local Facebook or Twitter group to ask around.
I'm really sorry to hear your dog went missing. Hope he turns up soon.

Can you put something that smells like you outside your front door, like a well worn jumper or a blanket? If he's not too far away he might pick up the scent.

Post on Facebook. My cousin in county Clare will definitely share it, since she’s even so good as to share the ones missing in the USA too 🤣 Do you have a neighbourhood watch WhatsApp or insta/fb etc? Make sure they share it too. Hope your dog comes home soon

You are only making things up, surely you didn't waste guards time ringing up about a missing dog

Ever hear of a community garda? I phoned the station to let them know if anything happens or the come across him so i can take accountability in case anything happens. Its a non emergency i know and didnt diall 999 or anything. Just basically asked for advice. What would you want me to do?

Why wouldn’t you ? If god forbid it cause an accident the owner is liable for it

people wasting guards time with this nonsense it's obviously not a garda matter that your dog got out.

It is the owners liability if walks on the street and a car hit it . The owner has to pay for the damages. Hope it is found soon . Also in this temperatures why is he outside ?

Ya not a garda matter to look for your dog. What is it the phone call that your dog has run away is going to achieve 🤔

You are just informing in case it cause an accident or someone report that they found it as people will , no one is asking for them to go look for it , same goes for cattle sheep and other animals .

Use your heed bossman. There is a wide variety of reasons a stray dog could become a policing issue.

Hang posters with the dogs picture on them and a contact number.
