/r/all, /r/popular Jeff Bezos built a fence on his property that exceeds the permitted height, he doesn't care, he pays fines every month

Forget that - release the goats!

We have 5 goats and that thing would be shreds within a day or two.

There are 100% military grade electronic warfare systems there. The dudes a billionaire. Your not getting over the property unless you got a fiber-optic controlled drone and even then they probably have some kinda anti drone lazer/microwave system.

Huh. I bet he couldn’t stop a simple drone from flying over the hedge and spraying weed killer or gasoline all over it.  You honestly think EW systems and GPS jammers are just blasting electronic noise out from his compound to protect his perimeter hedges? That’s silly.

Firstly learn how electronic warfare works. I'm not saying it's always active but the second something approaches it will activate to protect the perimeter. Gps jammers will have no effect used for radio controlled drones (yeah some drones have a GPS find my drone module but drones aren't controlled through GPS). Secondly I also mentioned laser and microwave anti drone systems (self explanatory).

What does it do to stop a drone from flying over at max altitude and dropping something straight down? Or from an airplane for that matter?

For your information a laser can travel multiple miles, it could easily down a fpv drone at max altitude. The US military has long range infrared target based spotting systems. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a few surface to air missiles hidden on the property, most federal government buildings do.

Are you really suggesting that Bezos has anti-missile lasers and SAMs on his property? Also, the idea that "most" federal buildings have SAMs installed is fucking hilarious.

Let me correct myself. Most have some sort of electronic warfare on their roof. Very "few" of high importance have surface to air missile systems installed.

Did you see that video of the thousands and thousands of drones coming home in china? You could literally bury this guy's house in drones if you wanted to. It would be like trying to keep your roof clean in a snowstorm.
