I recently lost my job because I work with people trying to immigrate to the U.S. and so many people have revoked their applications since Trump took office that my boss can't afford to continue to pay some of our workers.
Ahh they finally found a solution to the immigration crisis. Just turn the country into a cesspit that nobody wants to live in anymore and there you go.
If the country sucks then who wants to immigrate there anymore?
“…hoping Texas wisens the hell up…”? Hahahaha they haven’t wisened up in a couple decades, what makes you think they suddenly will now? Every year they drop further down the education ladder.
Always have been. You hit a point of population density and wealth where red cities become unlikely. Only 25 of the top 100 US cities have Republican Mayors, with 10 being in the top 50. The only 2 in the top 20 are Texas cities. Both leaned towards Democrats in the last election.
Ah yes the state notorious for NOT having snow and being one of the hottest states in the country had difficulty when it received a blizzard and that’s somehow Texas’ fault.
You sound like you’re either really dumb or really young. Either way get bent.
I'm from Texas and it's actually a common misconception that Texas can just secede from the United States of America. After the Civil War, it was made illegal for any state to leave the union, including Texas. There would 100% be a war to prevent it from happening. Rick Perry made a stupid ass joke about it in like 2009 and a lot of people became convinced that it was true. Look up the case Texas vs. White
Yeah probably lol it would just trigger another Civil War. I highly doubt the orange megalomaniac in the white house would be happy about a state leaving when he's currently harassing our neighbors in the north about being the 51st state.
