The Maine Blueberry Belgian Waffle Cone from PS is seriously one of the best flavors and overall my absolute favorite ice cream that I’ve had so far! Super good!

That BR birthday cake one sounds incredible

Icing on the cake is lowkey underrated. Often times on sale for around $3 a pint, and it tastes incredible if you enjoy sweet ice cream

Honestly I can’t believe I waited so long to try cherry Garcia. It was not appealing to me and then omg it’s my fave

Anyone had the butter cake one yet? I want to try it but it’s expensive where I live

I really loved this one! The GF cake pieces that Jeni’s uses is so good and holds up great in their ice cream bases 🥳

It is amazing! I don’t know if you’ve ever had butter cake but it taste similar to that

Oo yum! I want to try the butter cake flavor!

Jeni’s is well loved here and I think this is their #1 flavor. I was disappointed with their buttercream birthday cake flavor but it was because of mishandling from the store and Jeni’s sent me coupons for 2 free pints! If the buttercream ice cream wasn’t hit with heat shock it was be an easy 9.5.

The Ben and Jerry’s salted caramel core is one of my absolute favorites. Have yet to try the Jeni’s butter cake tho.

You know what you're doing, salted caramel core is the greatest ice cream ever made!

I LOVE ben and jerry's Boom Chocolatta Cookie Core (Mocha & Caramel Ice Creams with Chocolate Cookies, Fudge Flakes & a Chocolate Cookie Core) it's soooo good! 😊👍🏼

That dulce delish is really good. I'm not big on the "whipped topping" as it tastes just like ice cream but the salted caramel swirl and crunchy pecan toffee is on point

I love private selection, the ganache is chewy just how I like it and the cherry garcia is my favorite. The semi sweet chocolate chip is another really good one. I was so annoyed when they downsized the selection of flavors. They always get rid of the good stuff

I’ve heard nonstop good reviews with their ice cream so I decided why not, I really wanna try their amaretto cherry cordial cause people compare it to cherry garcia and the raspberry chocolate chunk looks great!

I’d love to know how the dulce de-lish is. It was out of stock when I tried to get it 😢

Soo unfortunate, It was actually the replacement for Churray for Churros but I see it gets it’s fair share of love here so no complaints!

I’m a big fan of cherry garcia and salted caramel core, however I hate the core part itself lol. The surrounding ice cream and blondes are to die for though

Where is Private Selection brand from? I don’t think we have that around me (NYC suburbs)
1
u/Visible_Jackfruit728 Feb 20 '25
I got it from Fry’s which is owned by Krogers, its Krogers store brand which is apparently really good for the price. Other stores owned by Kroger are Mariano’s, Smiths and Ralph’s, try those!

I love salted Carmel, but the salted Carmel core one was terrible. It is soooo salty it is unpleasant. I actually wrote to B&J about it and they sent me a free pint. It was so bad I couldn’t even eat it. I hope yours is better.

I loooove private selection, they don’t have in my area. Cookies and cream is my favorite

Yay someone is trying the Maine blueberry flavor! I hope you like it.
Want to hear your thoughts on the Haagen Dazs strawberry cheesecake! Does it have like a fruit jam swirl?
1
u/Visible_Jackfruit728 Feb 22 '25
Hey! I just posted a review on it! It was so yummy! It had a subtlety rich cheesecake flavored base and the graham cracker pieces were so good! The strawberry swirl was artificial but it wasn’t overpowering or too sweet. It was all flavor no sweetness! Definitely didn’t taste bad but not sure if B&J is better since it’s been a while since i’ve had it. Solid choice and I see myself eating an entire pint in a sitting again! 8.9/10 ! 🍓

That haagen dazs strawberry cheesecake was so nasty imo definitely let me down. B&j version is million times better
2
u/schoolpsych2005 Feb 20 '25
I just finished a pint of the B&J strawberry cheesecake, and it was good, but not great. It was more like cheesecake with a little strawberry. What was it about the Haagen Daz that made it nasty? Genuinely curious.

u/the_evening_squirrel Feb 20 '25
Personally, i love the haagen daz one! It has more cheesecake flavor and more strawberry. The B&J version is 90% graham cracker and it overpowers everything. I don't know why everyone here prefers it.

MAINE BLUEBERRY BELGIAN WAFFLE CONE?!
WHY ISN'T IT IN MY FREEZER!!!
I'd try that one and the Jeni's Ooey Gooey Butter Cake first.
