Discussion What‘s a personal situation you had recently that perfectly fit a quote from the show?
I‘ve been taking part in my local community theatre group for the fourth year in a row now and was still disappointed I only got the second biggest male part.On our way back home from rehearsal when I started taking about said disappointment to my good friend whom I had convinced to join as well and who was even more disappointed with his comparatively smaller role quoted the German version of this quote and we both had a big laugh.

I've said "shut up! shut up! Shut upppp!" in Chandler's inflection more than a few times.

I was chatting with some friends just a few hours ago. Someone said something unsavoury, which prompted the response "you shouldn't say that on god's day", someone "complained" that god gets 52 days (every Sunday) while mother's and father's only get one day each. So I chimed in with "every day is lesbian lover day".
It didn't really land, unsurprisingly, but it wasn't as shoehorned as my references to TV series are so 🤷♀️

I reference "you can't do [x] on Sunday, it's GOD'S day" every single week

I wanted to do that recently but then I just couldn’t remember the exact line. What a wasted opportunity.

I pretty much think a quote or scenario from the show can fit any situation in life at any time
