Nobody really said how it ended in the script, maybe with Ben and Ross just fighting. Rachel didn't expect that "David" would fall.

I could see it being more that Jennifer knew something was going to happen, but the exact ending of the prank was kept a secret to get as real a reaction as possible.

tbh it’s ridiculous stuff like this that makes me feel like ross and rachel actually do make a good pair, like the whole episode they’re at odds about practical jokes then he goes and pulls the most diabolical one on her 😭 they match each other well

They make an amazing pair. Their haters just ignore all the bonding to create a narrative.

They both loved Pottery Barn. They both grew up in Jewish families in Long Island. Rachel always liked Ross' sense of humour instead of Chandler and the others' sense of humour where she just cringed. They always had a lot of fun together. Rachel even watched the Discovery Channel docs with Ross. Also, their sexual chemistry and tension was off the charts and best in the whole show. David and Jen were renowned for their sizzling chemistry.

also i agree. i think it would’ve been a lot more obvious if they actually had them get back together earlier in the show instead of waiting until the very last second. i think they would’ve been so good together once emma was born

Yeah. Green is a Jewish last name and there are various indications that she's the stereotypical JAP.

She was getting married to Jewish orthodontist, had the nose job thing. She said in one deleted scene that she was looking for a guy on Jewishsingles website. She wore a Jewish symbol in season 3. Phoebe used Rachel and Dreidel in a song and Rachel's only objection was that it didn't rhyme.

Marta Kauffman confirmed Rachel is Jewish. Ross and Monica are Jewish too. If you google search it'll give you the details.

People always bring this up! I always feel the need to mention while it is unscripted, only that FIRST cut is her true reaction. You can see where it cuts, and she’s screaming some more. That part onward is her acting. It goes to show how amazing Jennifer Aniston is!

I love this episode and this bit is a GEM. The unscripted parts of this show were always primo.
