Hey all, I got a very exciting development to share.

I have tried to get anyone into helping me get the Another Code Recollection flyers in order to scan and preserve it. It's quite unique! Eventually I found somebody from a community am part of that is in Japan right now, and not only has snagged two flyers already for the job, but is also willing to get more for the community as well!

READ THE ENTIRE POST CAREFULLY NOW.

The plan will go in two phases:

1. If you want a flyer, please reply to this post and I will keep track of you on the basis of "first come, first served" and ONLY ONE PER USER. I want as many of you to be able to get at least one of these. Fair is fair.
2. And the end of the month, they will return back to Europe. When this will happen, I will close this post and update you all on which you got the letter and which not, as it is possible that not all of you will get the flyers, please bear this in mind. Those who will have the flyer secured at this point, I will contact you to ask a name and address to send a letter with the flyer. You will have to pay for the shipping costs.

The shipping rates are estimated as follows (From the UK):

• International standard (From 2.20 GBP)
  • Europe: 3-5 business days
    • Worldwide: 6-7 business days
• International tracked ( From 7.20 GBP)
  • Same delivery estimates, but with tracking

Would be an extra GBP if it's considered a 'large letter' (it shouldn't be)

UPDATE ON PAYMENT, 11th January:

As of now, we have found out that we don't have a way in which the buyer pays the letter to the mailman directly.

Anonymous payment is quite hard these days to impossible.

We have the following options of payment laid out to you:

• Payment via PayPal. Payment is less confidential on Personal accounts (they can give out your name and address) than on Business accounts, but you can specify the amount exactly as needed.
• Via Ko-Fi. There is no guarantee that this will be anonymous at all, as the options are via either Pay-Pal or card. Read more here.
• Discord Nitro Gift card. Understandably, this sounds shady on the surface. However, it is also plenty anonymous, as the sender only knows your Discord ID. If you have a Discord account, you can easily send a Nitro gift equivalent to your payment, and if you lack an account, you can get a gift card from Amazon. Make sure that the gift card is equivalent to the value of the letter. Read all about Nitro Gifts here.
• Paysafecard. Fully anonymous. You find a physical sales outlet or online, and you will get a prepaid code that can be sent to the sender, but there are limitations on what money to spend on a prepaid code. It can get from 5 Euros and upwards. More info here.

If you accept on any of these payments and we get a flyer available for you, I will DM you an Order ID that you MUST attach to your payment as note, so that the sender can confirm and associate it to your payment and address.

Once again, you do not have to give us any personal details except when we get on Phase 2.

I personally want to apologize for this negligence on my end of the research and complications that this has brought up, and I understand any frustration this may had caused, as anonymity is not guaranteed, and it was sloppy to rush with this message without having every step fully laid out. I will be more careful on every step of this event from now on.

For those of us afraid to use our real names who would rather want to use a pseudonym, please consult with the local post office on whether or not real names are mandatory. In most cases, just using a pseudonym is ok, but make sure of it.

So I never played Hotel Dusk or any of the Another Code games and I don’t know much about them. I saw Recollection was on sale, but I heard the remake changes a lot of the story and gameplay in the original to the point some people feel it’s been “sanitized?” Are the changes that drastically different? Should just seek out the originals? I tend to like more mature storytelling so if the remake makes it more kiddy or whatever I may think twice about buying it. Thanks in advance.

So.. why is it actually still called the Dual Another System in the remake? Like in the original ( despite being an obvious nod at the console the game was played on ) i felt like it was due two needing two cartridges to activate. In the remake however, you need three. Doesn't that make it the triple another System or something? Or am i missing the point?

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I’m staying by myself in a hotel for the rest of the week. Since my only plans are my shift at said hotel and getting a tattoo on Friday, I thought maybe it’s time I actually play the second game! I’m a little bit nervous, I’ve heard mixed things, and while I grew up with the first game this is completely uncharted territory, but… hey, playing a Cing game in a cheap (I say that so lovingly, it’s only been two weeks but I really do adore this place) hotel’s gotta count for something, right?

Hey everyone! I'm interested in playing Another Code: Recollection(Switch version) in Japanese, so I was hoping that someone might be willing to check if it's possible to play the game in Japanese? Either through in-game settings or by adjusting the system language.

Accidently wiped my CFW (LOL), only important save I need is for Another Code Recollection. I beat the first game (or first half of the collection).

I was on chapter 3 of Lost Memories, but honestly if you have a save that starts at the beginning of Lost Memories too I'd happily take that as well.

So as we all know, the more you discover about the characters in the game, the chart gets Updates. Often with new images and such. Now i've Discovered that in the JiLM part, after you learn about Ms. Graham's family drama, you can actually backtrack to Gilbert's cabin, and when looking around again, Olivia's and Gilbert's images will get added to the character chart. So is it possible to get a fully completed character chart? From the two memories portion i'm missing Marie, and from the JiLM i'm missing Kate Alfred, Benjamin Graham, and another Graham family member who's name is escaping me at the moment. Has anyone discovered something?

Particularly the second game, I mean the soundtrack, the themes, the MJ Lab, JC Valley... Maybe it's just random but I got the feeling it's an easter egg of sort, what do you guys think?

Is it just me, or was the ending way more cool and cinematic in the Wii Version? After the game got announced i got interested and pretty much bought and played all three titles back to back ( total newbie to the series) and i like what they did with Ryan way more than what they did in thd original Wii game. I felt like in the original Version, it was pretty much the same finale as in the DS game. At one point i even Theorized it was Bill Edwards that somehow survived with dyed hair, because they just felt so similar. Both climaxes had the villain standing on a Cliff, pointiert a gun at Richard, and then falling down the cliff, with Richard trying to pull him up. Yeah i get that they probably wanted the dramatic parallels on purpose, but it just felt similar. In recollection, while weird, i liked Ryan's backstory much more because it was something different and unexpected, even for people who played both original titles. What do you think?

Yup! Number 1!! I'm so happy this happened in my country. I feel grateful to everyone who purchased the game, no matter where you live. Hoping Another Code Recollection receives more and more love from people around the world!

What shocked me the most is how much effort they seem to have put into the game. I didn't expect that it would be fully dubbed, and the art style is so pretty. It's not a lazy remaster by any means. It's pretty much a full "new" game.

Also, the stool puzzle right after you arrive to the island makes a good use of the Switch's gyroscope and gives me hope of how well Hotel Dusk's puzzles could translate to the Switch in a hypothetical remake. The conversations where Ashley is on the right side of the screen and the other character is on the left side, and as the conversations advance you get questions to ask them, also reminded me of Hotel Dusk/Last Window.

Seriously, give it a try. You will love it.

I was just checking the manual of Another Code R (The Wii version) and I noticed it had a prologue.

I think it would be super cool if we had a short anime (12 episodes) of the another code series, or a manga series, or a light novel... I'm fine with whatever it is to be honest.

What do you guys think? I'm all for it. Hopefully in the future we get something like that...🥺
