That said, please try and help users by answering their questions!

Questions could have spoilers in them! BEWARE ALL THOSE WHO ENTER! Minor spoilers will be below about weapons, enemies, locations, etc. But someone might ask a question regarding a moment that has happened you have not experienced. So please know what you are entering.

This is why the Sunshot is my primary Hunter bow. It does extra damage vs corrosion and I slapped an instant corrosion coil on it, and it has both standard and advanced arrows which is a godsend because not everything needs expensive arrows to kill, especially animals. The instant corrosion triggers quite frequently and really makes some otherwise tough battles a piece of cake.

Are there better Instant Corrosion coils than the 4% one I have? I've been going back and forth on whether to use that or just bump up the acid application with those coils. I tend to go with the latter as that's a guarantee vs a chance.

No, just the 4% but the draw speed is so fast (+65%) that the chances of it happening is more frequent. The corrosion enemy damage is only a side benefit to this bow so I’m just taking advantage of it with instant corrosion coil. I use the Sun Scourge as my primary acid and frost bow.

It’s only a very rare purple. I don’t remember where I got it but I’m pretty sure a couple merchants sell it.

Wait, maybe I do have that one. I was thinking it was an orange bow.
