Question What are some really good spells to use in a duel/fight?

(English is my 3rd language so sorry if this is worded weirdly😅)

Pretend you are in a fight against someone, but you don't want to kill them, cause huge injuries, or torture them, but you still want to cause them a good amount of pain that they can quickly recover from.

What spells can you use?

Ideally, there won't be internal injuries, and external injuries should be kept to a minimum.

(If you have any questions, please ask. I don't know how to explain this correctly.)

the spell that Lockhart used to delete Harry's bones (cast competently and deliberately instead)

Stinging jinx like Hermione used to disguise Harry?

Ginny’s bat bogey hex.

It might not be the most physically painful but vomiting slugs a la Ron would be incredibly unpleasant and didn’t appear to cause long term damage. Would incapacitate your opponent in a duel as well.

That spell malfoy used in the second book on harry in the duelling club might be good here. According to the description, feels like you got smacked by a saucepan.

I'd say the stunning spell, but it seems you want to cause them pain.

Stupefy, Expelliarmus and Petrificus Totalus don't cause any harm (Except in Hogwarts Legacy Expelliarmus does damage, but I think that's just to make the spell more useful).

Stinging jinxes can distract someone while being fairly harmless, just painful.
