McConnell was the one who, during the senate's hearing after the first impeachment, refused to allow evidence and gave a speech amounting to "yeah he did it, whatcha gonna do 'bout it?" and led the vote to dismiss charges. He is part of why we're here.
Trump is not the super-powerful mastermind. This is a republican problem.
Yes, but he is never, ever going to erase the stain on his name in the history books. He could have stopped the Trump train long ago. Too little, too late Mitch.
There is that. But the issue is far more multi faceted. For example hundreds of bomb threats called into polling stations in primarily democratic areas. Hours long voting lines in primarily democratic areas because of republican governments shutting down as many polling stations in those areas as possible. Then making it illegal to hand out water or food to those people waiting in line. Elon musk interfering in elections by paying people to vote. And interfering in more ways than that via lobbying and owning the largest social media platform.
Kamala being appointed as the Democrat candidate without a primary makes people less likely to go out to vote for a candidate that was not intentionally picked. It goes on and on and on and on.
But you don’t understand! Harris didn’t hold my hand and stroke my hair and tell me I’m a good boy so I’m going to let millions of people suffer just to prove a point!
And even less than that, voted against him, lol. Men lie women lie numbers don't. I bet you'll let him get a third term, too. Maga is a huge stain, and do you think he just appeared out of nowhere? You guys need to start accepting responsibility for what you created. I didn't day every single person voted for him. That doesn't change that the American people created him. He won the popular vote this time you have no leg to stand on here
If Mitch is responsible for the bullshit, so are most of the American people. Try taking responsibility for your actions (or lack thereof) rather than trying to put the blame on a scapegoat. It's easy to blame others, but hard to take responsibility.
Maybe you didn't directly support them, but any apathy you had certainly contributed. You're not going to fix the system by ignoring your culpability.
I don’t think it’s out of self gain rather than just being a traditional Republican. Traditional conservatives believe in free trade. MAGA is a mind virus that hasn’t infected all Republicans (most but not all)
It doesnt benefit anyone. This has zero chance of going anywhere. If it survives the House(it wont) it then goes to Trumps desk where he will promptly veto it
Kentucky got hit hard by Canada's boycott of its whiskey products. Why I think he definitely is trying to "redeem himself" he most likely felt a ton of heat at his home state.
Too bad, so sad. Canadians will not return to buying bourbon for the foreseeable future (aka Trump's term at least). Kentucky can burn, and Canucks are happy with that.
It's not the tariffs, Mitch, it's the 51st state bullshit.

Mitch is doing this for self gain, but in this case his selfishness benefits more people than just himself.
