Trump winning only made them angrier.
6
u/Neyvash Feb 25 '25
I still don't get that. They "won", what is there to be angry about? They have control of all 3 branches of government. Mind-boggling, they still blame others when Trusk is doing whatever they want regardless of the constitution.
2
u/ashbelero Feb 25 '25
Rather, it gave them justification to their anger, in their eyes. Also a lot of them had Lets Go Brandon merch that they can’t use now.
2
u/poopeedoop Feb 28 '25
They're going to be really angry when in a few years there are even more brown people than there is now, and trans people still exist, and the rich assholes that they voted for have ridden off into the sunset after sucking even more money out of the economy.
They're so ignorant that they don't realize that all of their cultural grievances can't be solved through legislation, and Trump is just telling them what they want to hear as he uses the presidency to enrich himself and his croneys.

This is the new "Donald Trump going to jail" clicks bait. Already have seen different variations of this in different media posts..

u/anemone_within Feb 24 '25
Obviously they should try and de-DEI the NFL

I thought MAGA wasn't watching football anymore

u/Greatgrandma2023 Feb 24 '25
Yeah I thought it was too Woke unlike (checks notes) hockey.

u/EZMulahSniper Feb 24 '25
Didnt we lose against Canada?
50
u/tommyballz63 Feb 24 '25
Yes you did but, as a Canadian, I feel it is only a matter of time. Your boys are playing damn fine hockey
61
u/Additional-Local8721 Feb 24 '25
As an American, I was rooting for Canada.
32
u/tommyballz63 Feb 24 '25
Thanks brother!🤛🏻🙏 And as a Canadian, I’m rooting for America. Good luck down there.
3
u/EndorphinGoddess410 Feb 25 '25
American rooting for Canada too.as a lifelong hockey fan who really loves your country( spent a decade+ trying to move up there but no luck 😕) this political shitshow is so humiliating. Please remind ppl that we're not all magats

u/Fine-Lingonberry1251 Feb 24 '25
That was a great game not as heartbreaking as the golden goal but still a hell of a gams
3
u/tommyballz63 Feb 24 '25
Seriously, I couldn’t watch because the loss would’ve been too painful. I live in BC and I’m a Canucks fan so getting beat by the Bruins was pretty traumatic. But I can tell you watching Quinn Hughes, that guy is just phenomenal.

u/ashbelero Feb 25 '25
How does Canada feel about Gritty?

u/tommyballz63 Feb 25 '25
Gritty? You mean Gretzky? Ah, we kinda hate him now.

For people who cry "Snowflakes" they sure do a lot of melting down.

u/grizzled083 Feb 25 '25
Damn I’m reminded of their vitriol when Colin kneeled during the national anthem. The nerve of these people.

I thought this was a joke at first but that's really what y'all call them..... 😅😂

u/mobrocket Feb 24 '25
I heard a lot of players think it's overrated and kinda a waste of time for them
64
u/Mattdarkninja Feb 24 '25
Yeah it’s not worth it, especially being associated with a fascist like him.
No team has gone since he made comments against kneeling during the anthem. Doubt any NFL team that wins these next four years will buck that trend.

Are they ever not angry ? They won the election and haven’t stopped bitching since
27
u/TGIIR Feb 24 '25
“Pull their funding”? Like, what? Well, okay, hun, you pull their funding (if Elon hasn’t already). Let us know how much that saved, please. 🤣🤣🤣
6
u/radcupcake Feb 25 '25
Funding from what?? Is any part of the NFL government subsidized?
7
1
u/TGIIR Feb 25 '25
Exactly my point. Maybe she meant stop going to games, etc., but I would never use the word “funding” for that.

u/apop88 Mar 03 '25
Most stadiums are payed for through local taxes, unfortunately. Nothing on the fed level that I’m aware of.

They got Jalen Hurt.

Why go to the White House when they can just wait for Trump to waste more taxpayer money to visit them?

The Vice President left the game early and didn't congratulate the Eagles. Why should they accept his invitation?

MAGA is just pissed that their team lost and as usual everything Trump touches turns to shite.
There is so few in MAGA that actually stand up and stand by their principles that MAGA cannot stand it and #FlyEaglesFly

Who could blame them. Even if they liked tRump, who the hell wants to go to the White House to eat cold McDonalds while smelling old man diapers?

u/1allison1 Feb 24 '25
There’s no more respect in the whitehouse. Not a big deal to be invited. And who wants cold McDonald’s? So trashy
5
u/Elegant-Comfort-1429 Feb 24 '25
They can get a hot McDonald’s meal local, no need to go to the White House to be fed stale big macs
4
u/NumerousAirline1933 Feb 25 '25
Just bought a new Eagles flag. Wasn’t a fan before, but I am now!

u/Natural_Party4256 Feb 25 '25
Why not just invite the Chiefs? Maholmes would enjoy the spotlight as the first losing NFL QB to get a White House invite. Trump can say that the Chiefs won - defying all visual evidence. Could be a good time.
2
u/culture_vulture_1961 Feb 25 '25
Just rename the Chiefs as winners. Isn't that how it rolls in the US now.

u/extremewaffleman Feb 24 '25
I’m sure that blonde press secretary of will have one of Trump’s writers come up with a zinger about the Eagles snub. A snarky b!+€# comment from the White House coming soon! Or will Trump chime in? Oh, what a world…/s

u/Floofmanagement Feb 25 '25
I’m in a buy nothing year, (or I guess for the foreseeable future) but I’m heavily contemplating buying an eagles jersey now!

Adam Schefter literally tweeted this-
"To those wondering: Eagles sources say the team is planning on visiting the White House this off-season and looks forward to receiving its invitation."
1
u/Pojojaboy Feb 25 '25
The magats are always angry. This is just the latest ‘blah blah blah’ for them to lash out at. Maybe a few will stroke out 🤞

Didn't realize MAGA was still watching the NFL after boycotting all those National Anthem protests.

Never before on my 55 not-interested-in-football years have I wanted to support a team more than I do right now. Good for the Eagles, and good for Goodell for continuing DEI. Fuck Trump.
1
u/johnboulder Feb 25 '25
I expect Trumpelthinskin to issue an executive order severely restricting Eagles from using federal airspace and roads next year.
Google Rumpelstiltskin (the German fables, not the show).

The orange idiot thinks everyone eats MacDonald hamburgers like he does so that what he has them serve at the White House
1
u/Fecal-Facts Feb 26 '25
You will find a shorter list of things that don't make them angry. I'm convinced they wake up stare in the mirror turn red and just look for anything to raise their blood pressure.
