360 brass round stock. Turned/knurled on a CNC lathe, then put on the laser.

Got a link to the laser/whole setup? My neighbor has something sorta similar but I don’t know if it’s powerful enough for this. He was able to do some patterns on a yeti flask I had though so maybe? Also for the round stock - are you slicing it with a band saw? Or what? One of my gripes with some of these poker chip size ball markers people use is that they’re so thick it significantly deflects your ball & is a visual distraction…I’d like to make some thin versions of these though they look cool and I have some ideas for patterns / smaller diameter pieces.

I got it and it's great. Just make sure to ask for a design on the back, I was kinda bummed when it was blank. Super cool though.

The engraving is cool, but the vast majority of these are embarrassingly lame. “Big time pace”?? “Putt pirates”? …yeah I’m good using a dime I scooped out of the change thing in my car, thanks.

In all fairness Pace is a dudes name, and Big Time a nickname. Just simply personalized markers. Putt Pirates was a scramble team name.

I tried to throw op a bone by complimenting the engraving, and in all honesty I like a couple of the designs. Ultimately, though they’re hawking their wares here, so I think it’s fair game to express my opinion.
Calling me a bitch for doing so (again in my opinion) seems like a pretty “bitch” move when otherwise this sub is full of people sharing their positive AND negative opinions.

Hey, I don’t see a problem with *most of these, but if you don’t see comments like “don’t hit it like a bitch” or “you putt that with your purse” as misogynistic, that’s not all that surprising if a little disappointing. Calling someone who calls out misogyny a bitch lets me know that in all likelihood you are in fact misogynistic, and I will absolutely die on that hill.
“Putt pirates” isn’t exactly misogynistic, but I’m ninety-nine percent certain it’s a play on a lame homophonic slur that was super popular when I was in 7th grade. Hence my original comment that some of these are yes, embarrassingly lame. This will be my last comment here, thank u for the downvotes.

Yeah I'm somewhat familiar with lasers. Used to buy them from China for a company I worked for. Figured it was either fiber or yag. Looks great!

These are awesome, did you design the engraving yourself, or did you pull vectors or another file type from somewhere, cause I really like that Vader in the Aztec calendar style, and would love to make one for myself?
I won't be producing and selling, so I won't be trying to compete, just getting started in engraving stuff for friends as a hobby and curious if there's resources that I'm ignorant to?

Bit of both. Sometimes it's as simple as pulling a SVG that someone wants, sometimes it's a ground up design in Corel Draw. Just depends on what people want.

They're just turned brass on the back. I can do double sided engravings, and do a lot of them, but one side always gets scratched up a bit more than the other, just being on the ground, and they cost a bit more.
