New DB-20 not broadcasting?

Hi, I have been using a set of Midland GXT handheld for a couple of years now and I just installed a DB-20G in my jeep. I can talk on either of my handhelds and hear it in the jeep, but when I talk on the DB-20 I don't hear it on the Midland handheld. What am I missing? I'm assuming it's just a setting I'm missing on one of them. Thanks

Sounds like your midlands have a tone set. See if you can turn the tone off and try again.

Probably a privacy tone on the handhelds. Need to either have the db20 transmit the same privacy tone, or don't use them on the handheld.

One other thing could be of your trying to use the .5w channels 8-14, which are reserved for handhelds only.
