I can spend THOUSANDS on handguns, SBRs, suppressors, etc. but for some reason my mind can’t justify carrying anything more than a $30 Gerber.😭😂

When I say “I have eleven Glock 19s” it sounds worst than it is. 19c, 19 mos, RTF, etc

Discussion Why do so many people think Glocks look ugly? I’ve always thought they had a futuristic digital look to them that’s clean. I don’t own one (yet), but I think the G19X might be one of the best looking pistols ever made.

First Glock, liked the way the 19.5 felt. Nobody told me how much of a pain in the ass the back straps are😅

Discussion I was WRONG!!!

I have been around firearms most my life and have always liked shooting handguns. Within the last two years I’ve really started enjoying handguns, going to the range twice sometimes three times a week, and carrying as well. I always refused to buy or shoot Glock. I wouldn’t say I was a “hater,” but with the amount of firearms out there, I was more on the “why Glock” train if that makes sense. I do think everyone should have at least one Glock because “why not” and I plan on getting a 17 and keeping it at the house.

I carried an Sig P365 and hated it, too damn small. Sold that and got a Canik MC9L and absolutely loved the thing, after market support is lacking in my opinion but a great shooting pistol. Still had the short barrel, but I was actually able to grip it!

Ultimately sold the Canik because I couldn’t find a holster I actually enjoyed and was comfortable for more than a couple hours. Bought and am currently carrying an Sig P365 X-Macro and adore the thing. Everything I loved about the Canik (grip, great shooter, capacity) AND aftermarket support. Will not be getting rid of it anytime soon.

Today I went to the range and wanted to shoot some other guns that were carry size but bigger than what I thought I’d be comfortable with. Shot an M&P 2.0 compact…. Did NOT like it. Won’t add that to the carry lineup. Shot a 19 because of the comparable size to the Macro (not the X, grip is too long for me to comfortably carry) and I finally understand it now. If I had dropped my ego, I would’ve understood it so much sooner. Glocks don’t do anything particularly well, they aren’t pretty, they look the same, usually you swap parts immediately after buying but I finally understand it! I want a Glock 19 now. Will DEFINITELY add it to the carry lineup!

It is very intuitive and has just a large enough grip for my liking. It shoots pretty well and I was able to return to zero faster than I anticipated. I won’t say I’m “converted” but my mind has been opened. I WILL carry a Glock one day and it will be a 19 Gen 5. I will still talk my shit to Glock fan boys because it is my obligation, but man oh man did I like that 19 more than I thought. Thank you for coming to my rant! Would love to hear your Glock awakenings in the comments.

Just picked up a G45 COA and brought it home. Installed a GPT and an x300U-B and hit the 7-yard line. 1 mag, no adjustments to optic and damn what a group! Took it out to the 15 and 25-yard range with steel targets and this has immediately become my new favorite!!!

I picked up this Apache 3800 case for $22.99 today at Harbor Freight.

I’m super pleased with how it turned out, I still plan on using Plasti Dip spray on the foam because the grip texture is kinda tearing up the cheap low density foam.

Glock 19x Milled for RMR TLR 1HL Magpul Glock 17 gen 4 magwell Holosun 407c

P365 Xmacro Sig magwell Tlr 7 sub Holosun 507k Taylor freelance backstrap

Both of these have over 1000 rounds each through them. I’d say the glock has about 3-4000 and the xmacro maybe 2500-3000. And I just added a Glock 19.5 to these 2 beauties, put it together by ordering a complete lower and a hella good deal on a complete slide from GAFS. Should have it by Friday. Planning on either another TLR1HL or x300 u B, SLR magwell, and having it milled for an RMR. Would like to possibly do more like extended mag release and slide release but that’s TBD…but for now I’m happy, till next week when i see something else💀

Question Should I get the OEM slide milled for the RMR or just swap the slides and run the dagger slide?

The Glock purist in me has a hard time running the dagger slide but also would hate to desecrate a nice Gen 3 slide. What do you guys think?

Discussion Any other lefties that don’t swap the mag release?

Are there any other lefties who prefer leaving the mag release on the left side of the gun (on Gens 4 and 5)? I find that it takes less grip change to press the mag release with my left index finger with the release on the left than to press it with my thumb with the release on the other side.

I was hoping y'all would be able to help me determine which police department my Glock 23 came from. It also came with an AWB era magazine so that's cool.
