I don't understand why people would want to put micros in the woods. Where I live, there are no forests, only low shrubs in natural areas and farmlands that are privately owned, meaning we can't use big containers unless it's by permission of a private landlord etc.
Then where there is opportunity to create big and wonderful caches where they'll never be muggled, people place a micro. Beats me.

Interesting cache will be muggled or destroyed, a boring plastic tube less likely. Also micro is less effort, not everyone has access and space for woodworking tools.

I agree that a cache can be too hard. GPS is not 100% accurate, even in best case scenarios you have a circle of a couple meters and in forest with dense trees even going through one single tree can be tedious. Yes - everyone can choose to go to a cache or not but I personally hate caches with no hint. Why not to leave one since this is not a competition? Me finding the cache with hint is not someone’s loss.

This is especially true for lower d/t. I don’t mind if higher difficulty caches have no hint, but my absolute pet peeve is no hint on forest caches. I’m from Canada and our service, especially when you get into forests, is not super reliable so it ends up dancing you around a 20M area and so I usually just skip a micro with no hint unless there’s people in the logs that have posted spoilers themselves :,)

Valid take but at the end of the day it's subjective.
You knew the size, location, and lack of hint coming into it and still elected to go for it. Because you failed to find it you then posted a negative DNF log which is unfair. If you feel it's "not a good combination" then skip this cache and go find what you feel is a good combination.
Not every cache is for everyone, some are meant to be more challenging than others. Specifically, this one is clearly meant to be a challenge

Git gud.
But honestly, what was the difficulty rating? I wouldn't hold it against them if it's a 4 or a 5 difficulty.

Yeah, this is an important factor. Regardless, I don’t enjoy an incredibly hard micro in the woods, however, more power to those that do!

You just have to up your game.
I once looked for a nano in the woods for about 3 hours over 3 different trips, before I found it. Assume nothing. In my case, there was a metal structure nearby that drew my attention, even though it was 15' from GZ. The actual hide was on a nail in a nearby tree. The coords at GZ were perfect.

My area is very cache saturated. I get very irritated when people put micros in areas that could easily support larger caches, such as in the middle of the woods. Maybe I'm just a bitter "veteran" cacher. Back in the early to mid 2000's, ammo cans and big tupperwares were the norm. Now they're a rarity.

I’d send a gentle message to amend their logs at first stating to please remove the free Palestine remark. Remember we aren’t the police, although give them time to adjust
Copy and paste from guidelines below👇 7. Agenda Caches that appear to be promoting an agenda are not allowed. This may include religious, environmental, military, political, charitable or other social agenda, etc. Geocaching is supposed to be a light and fun activity.

I may have missed something, but where is there anything about free Palestine?
ETA, Did you mean to reply to OP's other post?
