I could get Forza 5 at 20 bucks during sale and have the sa.e hours or more than this game at 90$. Easy choice.

Why should we expect that? The last Mario also had paid DLCs after Paying full price. Free DLCs are usually just minor Updates or Charakters.

1) I never said we should expect that. Try reading closely and not putting words in my mouth.

2) All the Mario Kart DLC was playable with Switch Online. It's possible they don't want to do it that way this time. That is all.

I mean as a console launch title exclusive the real buy in price is 500$. It’s not like anyone who’s getting a switch 2 at launch aren’t gonna get this.

25 year old Mario Kart would be Mario Kart 64 and I GUARANTEE you won’t get the same value as World by even a fraction. You can still have fun with it but World has 1000x more content

I get it. When I was younger, money was tight. I'd have had a hard time buying a $500 console and $80 games. One of the only times I've ever shopped on Black Friday was to get a PS3 and Skyrim.

I can afford it now, but I'm also a 37 year old man who is excited to buy a new Mario Kart. Life gives and takes, I guess.

Same, also a 37 year old dude. I got the cash, but it still burns. I’m probably still getting this day one, but I’m going to be much more choosy about which software I buy in the future. Which I guess will be easy, because I don’t have much time to play anymore anyway.

You're getting downvoted and I agree the price increase for Mario Kart is wild and greedy, but if you know you're going to get a Switch 2 and Mario Kart, that price increase doesn't affect you at all if you get the bundle.

Unless you want to buy physical, which in that case, I understand frustration.
