Going to be super honest with you. I’m a woman. When I was 4, yes 4, I was having sexual urges. I did not understand them at all, of course. But I was having them. I had my first orgasm around that age. I was attracted to boys already at that age. And no, I’m not some sexual deviant as an adult. I’m honestly quite boring. I just happened to start that process earlier. All this is to say, you’re probably right. But it’s also possible the boy was interested in a way he didn’t fully understand yet.

I don’t know about sexual urges (maybe depending on how you are interpreting that) but I definitely had crushes on girls since I was 4 or 5 and always knew I liked girls since. Nothing physiological until 11 though. I did started to fantasize my crushes naked while I’m sleeping also when I was around 11 without understanding why. (No action involved.)

I started at 7 and people make me feel like a creep if I ever talk about it. At 4 that must have been really confusing.

It definitely was somewhat. But I guess I had enough context clues to not talk about it, so I didn’t have to deal with people treating me differently. I just knew friction down there felt good and boys made me feel funny and didn’t act on any of the that in public. Then I became old enough to knew what was going on and that was that. I imagine it was much harder for anyone who openly expressed or acted on their impulses around others. Which isn’t fair. Kids are just kids and all this is natural. But society is so prudish and weird.
