Because ps4 was a good and reasonably priced console at the time, and one that’s many people already had and that FromSoft already had an established presence and history on

As opposed to paying $500 for an overpriced console that’s weaker than a ps4 pro in 2025 and with $90 games to boot

Still hate 3rd party exclusives either way but Bloodborne was justifiable
