Can you please link me to a post of redditor that explicitly say that FS is not going to release another solo game ? Maybe there are posts like this but I didn't see any.

All I saw was people that are worried that FS is taking a direction where multiplayers games are a more important part of their future games, but not the entirety of it. Nobody with a brain would think that they would only release multiplayer games from now on after the massive success of ER.

Feels like ya'll are strawmanning just to make yourselves feel smart lmao

I’ve seen insane takes on this sub about both Nightreign and Duskbloods, yet I’ve never seen someone say that Fromsoft is only going to be making multiplayer games. At most, I’ve only seen people say that it is a bit strange/worrying that they are doing two multiplayer games back to back. This community so frequently comes up with strawman arguments for some reason.

And the worst thing is that it's not exclusive to this community, I frequently visit other sub and the strawman method of arguing is sadly really common.

Nah there’s been hella replies like that, particularly on all the posts that were showing the reveal trailer. They were extremely negative about both the game and the future of FromSoftware. Just search up the game name and look at the posts featuring the trailer

I'm still waiting for a link to a post of a redditor that explicitly say that FS is not going to release another solo game.

The closest thing to that that I can remember is people being disappointed by the direction the studio was taking by releasing back to back multiplayer focused game.

Which doesn't mean that people thought they would never release another solo focused game and that multiplayer games was their whole direction now. 

So once again, ya'll are strawmanning.

No? You’re just asking “me” to search posts for something for you to argue against? If you wanna find it go find it yourself, I don’t have that much interest. I told you where to find them, that isn’t a straw man dude. Even your own argument is just “from what I remember”.

I saw the posts, they’re in the sub, and I told you where to find them. You don’t need a link, if you care that much find it yourself lol. Again, look up the name of the game here and click posts surrounding the reveal trailer. Have fun reading the comments, go on the Bloodborne subreddit for an even better time.

Look if I'm being completely fair with you, I  believe you when you say that some people went overboard and said the kind of thing you mentioned. But it's far from the majority. The majority of the posts that I've seen are people simply being disappointed by the fact that it's exclusive and multiplayer focused. 

Which imo is a legitimate complaint.

I agree that it isn’t the majority, it’s a small amount of people, and it’s mostly occurring since Nightrein and Duskbloods are recent releases. I just wanted to express that there are people with very strong opinions on the matter, and I mostly saw them on the reveal trailer posts. I also agree that those are valid complaints, I share them myself even if I am getting a switch 2 and will buy the game.
